- Berry Angrybeak’s skill may be a reference to Angry Birds, with its design in particular inspired by one of the titular birds, Red. Or more specifically his Angry Birds Space incarnation, Super Red, and the Northern cardinal.
- An animation features Berry Angrybeak slinging itself forwards and towards potential obstacles, referencing the Slingshot from most of the classic games in the Angry Birds Franchise. This includes a tiny explosion for destruction points, which could be a subtle reference to the character Bomb.
- Berry Angrybeak's internal name is "pet0252".
