Butterbear Cookie (Korean: 버터베어맛 쿠키, botobeomat kuki) is an Epic Cookie released alongside his Pet, 
Holiday Stocking, in the second half of The Lost Holiday update. He collects Yarn Jellies and makes teddy bears for young Cookies while running.
Previously an NPC in the A Very Special Winter story, Butterbear Cookie is the owner of the Merrybear Toy Shop, as well as the brother of 
Eggnog Cookie and the father of 
Lollipop Cookie.
Story[]
This Cookie opens his shop every day to share happiness and joy with young Cookies, and makes countless toys with lovely packaging, that you wouldn't find anywhere else! It makes you wonder what the Cookie could have worked with before opening the toy shop... He is said to be so generous that you end up with your arms full of gifts, even if you only came to buy a ribbon for your doll!
Perhaps the true secret to all the young Cookies' laughter is Butterbear Cookie's own laugh as he happily greets them.

- Butterbear Cookie's ability to bring toys to life may be a reference to Pinocchio- specifically to the character Geppetto.
- It can be assumed that the work Butterbear Cookie mentions he did before may have been some sort of gift-giving with Eggnog Cookie, as both share a role in caring for young Cookies and have similar sounding Santa-esque voices in their Jump and Slide sound effects.
- This is later affirmed in the What in Your Bag? YouTube video as Cheesecake Cookie vaguely remembers a Ginger Claus with the appearance of Butterbear Cookie gifting her a key chain of her pet. While it is difficult to decipher him in the memory bubble presented, he looks visually younger within her blurry memory- specifically possibly lacking his mustache.[2]
