Collect Space Doughnut's Shooting Stars! is an event in Cookie Run: OvenBreak, released with the Yakgwa Village: Haunting Tales update. This event is unique in that it requires the notifications to be turned on for the event to work; it was added alongside a small update to the Notifications tab of the Settings page.
At random times during the day, except for the period between 9PM and 8AM, shooting stars may appear up to three times a day, and the player needs to collect them within 4 hours of one landing to obtain them. 1-3 shooting stars can be found whenever one lands, alongside 10,000 coins. Every 7 stars collected rewards the player with 300 Crystals, which can be obtained up to 7 times. On the event page, 
Space Doughnut normally looks at a blank night sky with a "Happy" expression, but sometimes the night sky will gain an Aurora and Space Doughnut will rock side to side. If this happens, the message "Looks like a meteor show is coming!" will display, and the next meter find will reward 3 shooting stars guaranteed.
When the event was first released, the window to obtain the shooting stars was only 30 minutes long. This was then changed to 60 minutes a day later alongside an announcement, and then silently changed to 4 hours sometime after.

- Prior to the player starting the event,
Space Mini Ball will appear to be sleeping. The Pet does not wake up until the player turns on the special notifications button in the in-game settings.
