CookieRun: The Darkest Night is a VR game created by Devsisters, released on November 30, 2023 for the Meta Quest. Currently, only Chapter 1 of the game is available to play.
On late March of 2025, the game was officially delisted from the Meta Store with no reason given.
Unlike other games within the franchise, in this game you only play as GingerBrave.

Become the legendary GingerBrave, who will bring light to The Darkest Night!
You will play as a not-so-brave cookie named GingerBrave. You must find the courage to battle enemies and solve puzzles to grow into the courageous leader he is destined to be. Along the way, he meets a colorful cast of cookies to help him on this journey.
Escape from the Witch's Castle! But it won't be easy…
Your only opportunity to escape The Darkest Night is to flee the castle while the witches leave for a mysterious gathering. However, the witches henchman, The Darkest Lord, and his army will try to stop you at every turn.
Gather Brave Souls to grow stronger and braver to defeat increasingly powerful enemies. With help from other cookies and pets with unique abilities, you’ll have the strength and courage to escape the witch's castle.

Story Summary[]
Chapter 1[]
Prologue[]
The chapter begins with a mysterious fiery glow (called The Will of the Cookies) and the face of the Darkest Lord Cookie speaking to an off screen Gingerbrave. The Will of the Cookies, through vague sentences, tells Gingerbrave that he needs wake up. He's the only one who can take on an "impossible task". The Darkest Lord Cookie, on the other hand, talks about how he (presumably GingerBrave) is destined to destroy them (presumably them and their army of Dark soldiers). They, however, vow to destroy him "time and time again, for all eternity".
The Witch's Kitchen (Wizard Cookie) - (WIP)[]
After the vision is over, GingerBrave wakes up in a panic. He finds himself in the witch's oven, alongside other (still non-sentient) cookies. GingerBrave begins to look for a way out, finding that the oven door was left open by accident. Before he can properly escape, however, GingerBrave is stopped by the Darkest Lord Cookie, who shuts the door on him. Fortunately, GingerBrave is then assisted by another cookie from outside, who opens up a cooling hatch for him to jump out from. The cookie later introduces himself as Wizard Cookie, sent out to rescue GingerBrave after receiving a prophecy from Prophet Cookie mentioning him.
