This glossary is a list of general terms used in Cookie Run Braverse.

Deck[]

  • Deck - A set of 60 cards required for playing. A legal deck contains at least one Cookie card, and can only contain upto 4 of the same cards, and upto 16 FLIP cards.
  • Booster Pack - A themed pack of 5 cards and a coupon code for Crystals in Cookie Run: Kingdom, which can be added to decks for customization.
  • Starter Deck - A pre-made themed deck of 60 cards.
  • Hand - The cards held by a player during a match.

Cards[]

  • Rarity - Determines the overall rarity of cards. The order from most to least common is as follows: Common (C), Uncommon, (U), Rare (R), Super Rare (SR), Ultra Rare (UR), Extra Rare (EXR)
  • Secret rare - Rarer variants of existing cards, which usually contain a full artwork. These come in Secret Rare (SEC), Secret Super Rare (SSR) and Secret Ultra Rare (SUR)
  • Promotional card - Limited cards that are only available through certain promotions or events. These are labelled in the rarity Promotion (P).
  • Cookie card - Cards featuring Cookies, which are used for battling. Upto two can be placed in the Battle Area.
  • Stage card - Cards featuring locations, which have special effects that can be triggered every turn.
  • Item card - Support cards that trigger effects when used during the player's turn.
  • Trap card - Support cards that trigger effects when it is used only if the player receives damage.
  • FLIP card - A subtype of cards that trigger its ability if it's flipped as an HP card.
  • Active mode - An upright card whose effects can be triggered.
  • Rest mode - A card placed sideways to signify a Cookie or Stage card is used.
  • HP card - Cards picked from the deck equal to the Cookie's HP, and placed face down underneath an active Cookie to represent HP. The topmost card of deck goes to the bottom of HP cards. If HP is lost, same amount of HP cards is discarded to Trash.
  • Cost - The cost of using a skill or effect, which can be paid by resting the mentioned colored cards in the Support Area.

Areas & Phases[]

  • Battle Area - The area where upto two Cookie cards are placed for battling.
  • Support Area - Area where cards are stored to cover costs. The cards here are never discarded.
  • Deck Area - The area where the rest of the deck is placed.
  • Break Area - Any fainted Cookie cards go here. It's game over if the total level of Cookie cards reach Lv. 10 or higher.
  • Stage Area - The area where a Stage card is placed for its effect. Only one Stage card can be played at a time. Replacing the Stage will place the old one to Trash.
  • Trash - Any discarded cards go here.
  • Active Phase - 1st Phase in turn, all rested cards are set to Active mode.
  • Draw Phase - 2nd Phase in turn, add two cards from top of deck to hand.
  • Support Phase - 3rd Phase in turn, add one card from top of deck to Support Area
  • Main Phase - 4th Phase in turn, play cards, trigger effects, or attack in this phase.
  • End Phase - Last Phase in turn, after settling all activated effects, end the turn.
