2020's Cookie of the Year was an event in Cookie Run: OvenBreak where players would vote for their favorite Cookies. The event started during the Dazzling Year's End Party update, coinciding with the release of Macaron Cookie's Trial. From Round 3 onwards, players can leave a message for the voted Cookies, given that the messages are not inappropriate.

The winner of the event was Timekeeper Cookie, with Ananas Dragon Cookie being second place.

Much like last year's Cookie of the Year, the Cookies are sorted into random brackets, with players voting for their preferred Cookie out of the two featured for each bracket. The Cookies with the most votes will advance to the next round and everyone who voted for at least one Cookie will get guaranteed rewards for the specific round.
