“ There's no other city like it! It's a wanderer's paradise! „ — Electric Eel Cookie
Deep Sea City Wandercrab (Korean: 심해도시 원더크랩, simhaedosi wondokeuraep) is a Breakout Episode released in the first half of the Living Deep Sea City update. Much like Yogurca: Secrets of Mirage Village, this Episode is a direct sequel of a previous Breakout Episode, the Lost City of Sugarteara.
This Episodes focues on Wandercrab, a dazzling city brimming with vibrant lights and bustling with lively sea Cookies and creatures, including the notable Electric Eel Cookie and
Abyss Monarch Cookie.
Currently, this Breakout Episode is part of the Weekly Roundup 1 Episodes, which were added in the first half of the Lights, Camera, Action! update.
Gameplay Elements[]
Deep Sea Energy Jellies[]

Deep Sea Energy Jelly.
Unique to this Episode are the Deep Sea Energy Jellies, which are scattered across its stages. Each one collected steadily fills the Battery, eventually triggering an activation when fifty are collected. Upon activation, special Jellies are expelled, and all Jellies on the map are briefly pushed back from their original positions before being instantly magnetized to the Cookie. Uniquely, Abyss Monarch Cookie can naturally magnetize the Deep Sea Energy Jellies.
Each Deep Sea Energy Jelly provides 22,222 points, while the burst phase and resulting special Jellies yield around 6.8 million points once collected by the Cookie.
Submarine[]

Returning from the Lost City of Sugarteara Breakout Episode is the submarine mechanic, which can be found at the end of the Turtle's Sunset Respite and Brimming Deep Sea Junkyard.
Inside the submarine, Energy does not drain, and the player has the option to either press the Jump button to slightly maneuver the submarine (for Jelly collection), or pressing the Slide button to lessen the submarine's descent to the ground floor.
Retired Gameplay Elements[]
Special Rules[]
Prior to the Episode's rework in the Our Special Pie Party! update, each stage was roughly twice as long as those in previous Breakout stages. To keep the playtime comparable to earlier Episodes, the Cookie Run team introduced a unique rule during Wandercrab's twelfth week*. Under this rule, Cookies running later in the lineup experienced a faster Energy drain but earned more points to compensate. The in-game rules for each runner were specified as follows:
- Runners #1-5
- +10% total points gained.
- Runners #6-10
- Energy drains 15% faster.
- +30% total points gained.
- Runners #11-15
- Energy drains 20% faster.
- +50% total points gained.
- Runners #16-19
- Energy drains 30% faster.
- +70% total points gained.
- Runner #20
- Energy drains 30% faster.
- x2 for in-game score and the final score!
This special rule was initially planned to only last for the twelfth week. However, on September 8th, 2023, the rule was later extended to last for the thirteenth week* as well.
Starting with the Peril in Paradise update, all Special Rules in Breakout were removed, apart for x2 Points for last runner, and with Deep Sea City Wandercrab's return in the Our Special Pie Party! update, the rules related to faster Energy drain and increased points were removed as well. In exchange, the stages are now way shorter than they used to be. The original uncut stages are accessible in Breakout Normal Mode.

2. Turtle's Sunset Respite[]This stage is a redesign of Sea Turtle Cove from the Lost City of Sugarteara. It takes place at sunset, instead of during the day. Much like Sea Turtle Cove, there are large walls of Bear Jellies to collect at certain parts of the stage, seahorses that move in a line, and pufferfish that inflate to obstruct the player's run. Red Pufferfish also appear during the stage, and they lose their lives when they inflate as they are found under terrain. Switches also return, but instead of making Coins, they make Giant Bear Jellies. The Deep Sea Energy Jellies for this stage can be found primarily by following the trail of Jellies. |

3. Whale's Evening Promenade[]This stage is a redesign of Secret Highway of the Whales from the Lost City of Sugarteara. It has blue water instead of green, and there is now a Rainbow Bear Jelly trail at the start of the map as well as the end. This map features fish that swarm in groups, which can be defeated with Coin Magic Power Jellies, Seaweed that captures the cookie and speeds up energy drain, and near the end there are pathways of two kinds of Jellies. This stage involves riding a Whale to the end, where the second trail of Rainbow Bear Jellies is found, as well as a big potion. The Deep Sea Energy Jellies for this stage can be found primarily within bottles on the map. |

4. Dirty Snow Playground[]This stage is a redesign of Twinkling Jellyfish Playground from the Lost City of Sugarteara. It is noticeably brighter in lighting, and features many more obstacles to avoid, in the form of debris. The coins in this area take on their design from the Black Sugar Pirate Ship, and with certain Cookies, the Jellyfish on the top of the map can be seen. There are a lot of mines to avoid in this stage, as well as Hermit Crabs that fire cannonballs; most of the Deep Sea Energy Jellies in this stage can be found by avoiding them. |

5. Den of Deep Sea Horrors[]This stage is a redesign of Deep-Sea Expanse from the Lost City of Sugarteara. Instead of an image of a large Anglerfish in the background, the city of Wandercrab itself can be seen in the distance. This map involves a lot of holes to jump over, as well as rocks and hermit crabs to avoid. Mid-way through the stage, the pathway narrows, and Jump Items must be utilized to avoid falling. Following this, a fight with a Kraken begins, who slams the floor to destroy the floor, and opens the ceiling to drop Frozen Bear Jellies into holes. At the end of the stage, the player runs through a small shipwreck, and obtains a large Potion from the Anglerfish, who is sleeping instead of being awake. |

6. Brimming Deep Sea Junkyard[]This stage takes place in the junkyard right outside of Wandercrab. It features a lot of the garbage obstacles seen in Dirty Snow Playground, as well as claws that drop from the sky to try and grab the player. Walking crabs appear in this stage, and groups of purple fish also appear, moving up or down to try and attack the player. The Deep Sea Energy Jellies in this stage can be collected mostly by avoiding obstacles. The Slide button must be used to avoid the claws. At the very end of the stage, a Submarine section takes place, and near the end of this the player gets abducted. |

7. Fantastical Deep Sea City[]This is the city of Wandercrab itself. This stage involves the player walking across tiltable billboards, sinking metal platforms, and some residential buildings. Starfish with sunglasses dot the area, which must be jumped on to avoid taking damage; some starfish also fall onto platforms, which cause them to fall off. Colorful Star Powders appear sporadically, which can be used to destroy the pink anglerfish that swim throughout the stage; these ones do not move up and down, unlike the purple fish in the last stage. The background scrolls downwards as the stage progresses. The Deep Sea Energy Jellies in this stage can be primarily obtained by destroying the gray anglerfish that swim alongside the pink ones. |

8. Underwater Tropical Jazz Bar[]This stage is a juice bar with a dance floor. It involves shark signs that function as rectangular obstacles to avoid, as well as yellow dancing fish to jump over. Some boxes and drums dot the stage, and stepping on them reward the player with 55,555 points each. At the beginning of the stage, happy faces made of Alphabet Jellies and Yellow Bear Jellies are formed, followed by pineapples and the words "Be Gentle" with a wine glass made of Pink Bear Jellies. Immediately following the last Jelly drawing is a "fight" with Choco Flounder Cookie, the owner of the bar. There are three segments to the fight; Choco Flounder Cookie first tosses drinks to the player, then slams their head down to make the floor collapse, and then does both. Finishing any segment makes the words "Oh. Cool!" appear, spelled out in Jellies. The Deep Sea Energy Jellies for this stage can be found in Champagne Bottles that burst open as the player runs by. |

9. Creaking City Shortcut[]This stage takes place within the alleyways of Wandercrab. In the first half of the stage, platforms held up by chains serve as the floor, with large holes filled with garbage obstacles below them. Words made of bear Jellies give warnings about these holes, saying "Caution - Drop". Walls of metal boxes and fragmented platforms with garbage obstacles follow the initial set of chained platforms. The second half of this stage takes place along a set of pipes. These pipes sometimes deposit Deep Sea Energy Jellies, which most of them can be found in. After some time on the pipes, small electrical pulses appear and disappear along the path, which can be avoided by following the Jelly trail. The main tip on dodging the electrical pulses is to jump once upon seeing two and double jump at three or more when on level with them. |

10. Secret Hermit Crab Power Plant[]This is the power plant that powers Wandercrab. In the background, the hermit crab can be seen on a computer screen, which has a neutral expression. Metal and wires must be avoided, and a claw can sometimes appear to add and remove obstacles. After the first stretch of land, the hermit crab emmits many smaller crabs from itself, which must be avoided as they land on terrain. The computer also begins to malfunction, causing the lights on screen to shut off; the player must figure out where their Cookie is by red boxes that flash on the screen, which only provide the silhouettes of the Cookies, platforms, and obstacles. The Deep Sea Energy Jellies for this stage can be primarily found within pods, that can be destroyed to obtain said Jellies. |
