Lilac Cookie ventures to the Mirage Village, the home of the Sneaky Sands Clan, with Scorpion Cookie. When night falls, Lilac Cookie ventures into the Village's marketplace, looking for a certain golden vial. He overhears two Merchant Cookie's talking about how the current leader of the Clan is preparing to step down. The merchant's speculate on who the next leader will be, noting Centipede Cookie as a candidate, but mentioning that Lilac Cookie himself would've been a great leader, had he not left long ago. Centipede Cookie cuts into the conversation, annoyed that the merchants are talking about a traitor. Lilac Cookie tries to leave, but Centipede Cookie recognizes him, and attacks. A flashback occurs, revealing that back at the Yogurt Mansion, Yogurt Cream Cookie has been sleeping more than usual, and the Mansion's Assistant Cookie's are having trouble waking him up. They ask Lilac Cookie to try to wake him. Lilac recognizes the scent lingering around Yogurt Cream Cookie, and makes haste towards the market.

Lilac Cookie: I have not been to the desert in a while.
Scorpion Cookie: Well, perhaps that's why it feels like home, doesn't it?
Lilac Cookie: To Cookies like us, we have no place we can call home.
Scorpion Cookie: Cold as usual... I'm sure there will be lots of Cookies who will be saddened to hear that.
Scorpion Cookie: Hmm... By the look of the sun, I think we're almost there.

Scorpion Cookie: It really looks like a mirage...! Truly astonishing... this Mirage Village. Whoever found the oasis first did a great job at naming this village.

In-game Summary
In the market, Lilac Cookie tracks down Scorpion Cookie, where he questions her about White Sand poison, which he believes Yogurt Cream Cookie to have been doused with. Scorpion Cookie tells him that it is traded among the Sneaky Sands Clan. If Lilac Cookie is to find the antidote, he must find the creator, and to do that he must venture to the Clan's hideout, the Mirage Village. Scorpion Cookie warns him of the danger of returning, but Lilac Cookie is unwavering in his mission to find the antidote. Scorpion Cookie teases Lilac Cookie about how easy it is to read him now, and declares she will tag along. Back in the present, Centipede Cookie declares that Lilac Cookie will act as her subordinate for the time being, until she can figure out his motives behind returning.
Centipede Cookie: Of course, I am! Follow me, you traitor!
Lilac Cookie: I am surprised everything seems to be in order, considering the fact the leader is soon to retire.
Centipede Cookie: Of course, it is! It's all thanks to my hard work. I am soon going to be the leader of this clan!
Centipede Cookie: Just because you're in the Sneaky Sands Clan's uniform right now, it doesn't mean I approve of you!

In-game Summary
Centipede Cookie sets Lilac Cookie on a mission to gather information. He speaks to the Merchant Cookies, who tell him of how Peppercorn Cookie is looking everywhere for well-paying jobs nowadays. The Merchant's also reminisce about back when Lilac Cookie and Scorpion Cookie were members of the Clan. Lilac Cookie reports back to Centipede Cookie, who then tasks him with finding a gift for the Sneaks Sands Clan's leader. While out, he meets with Scorpion Cookie, who has been looking into where the antidote can be found. They deduce that the antidote is likely in the leader's treasure trove. Centipede Cookie, who suspects Lilac Cookie plans to try to become the next leader, sends him to steal a few things from Yogurca. Lilac Cookie once again finds the task too easy, and takes the time to check in on Yogurt Cream Cookie before returning.

Centipede Cookie: You probably have forgotten all about the Sneaky Sands Clan by now! Let's start with the basic missions!
Centipede Cookie: Gather rumors and information that are being spread about the clan in the village! You know well that information is power for Cookies like us, right?

Carpet Merchant Cookie: That's too bad! You really were the most capable Cookie in the clan!
Pottery Merchant Cookie: That's true! When you and Scorpion Cookie were still members of the clan, no one dared to bother us!

Lilac Cookie: That would mean it is hidden somewhere inside the clan's base.
Scorpion Cookie: Hehe, you would know best about how the clan works... If the boss hid it, it's obvious where it is.
Lilac Cookie: The treasure trove... The antidote must be in there.
Lilac Cookie: Here, I think a golden sword and a golden vase should be enough.
Centipede Cookie: I told the merchants I wanted these before...!

The Real Treasure[]
In-game Summary
When he returns, Centipede Cookie gives Lilac Cookie the task of 'taking care' of a new suspicious Cookie in the Village. Scorpion Cookie disparages that Lilac Cookie has the skill to do much more than simply knock out a Cookie, but Lilac Cookie responds that he has promised not to make use of those skills, not unless a Cookie is a threat. Scorpion Cookie teases him about how he truly listens to whatever "that Cookie" tells him. Lilac Cookie deals with the suspicious Cookie by leaving her out in the desert. Centipede is further annoyed and orders Lilac Cookie to clean the treasure trove, which he uses as an opportunity to search for the antidote. Scorpion Cookie joins Lilac Cookie as he searches through the trove, briefly pointing out a certain magic lamp as something that could be more effective than the actual antidote, before dismissing it. They find the antidote, only to be caught by Centipede Cookie. A fight ensues, where Centipede Cookie summons the Centipede King, but the two traitors are able to escape, and Lilac Cookie is able to successfully cure Yogurt Cream Cookie.

Centipede Cookie: I see that... Well, any member can sneak a few items. It's not that hard!

Chili Pepper Cookie rewards this deed by pickpocketing Peppercorn Cookie. Continuing on, Chili Pepper Cookie comes across the Mirage Village and goes on a stealing spree, before being promptly captured by the Sneaky Sands Clan. Right before Peppercorn Cookie can punish Chili Pepper Cookie for stealing from her and the Mirage Village Merchants, the Sneaky Sands Boss appears. Seeing promise in Chili Pepper Cookie since she was able to steal from Peppercorn Cookie, he offers her the opportunity to join the Clan, which she accepts. Peppercorn Cookie is put in charge of training Chili Pepper Cookie.

Peppercorn Cookie introduces Chili Pepper Cookie to Lilac Cookie and Scorpion Cookie, who assist in training her. Disquieted by her training, Chili Pepper Cookie attempts to flee from the Clan, but is unsuccessful. Peppercorn Cookie begrudgingly admits that Chili Pepper Cookie has some talent when she finds out the Cookie managed to steal from both Lilac Cookie and Scorpion Cookie. The two of them are called to meet with the Clan's boss.

In-game Summary
The Sneaky Sands Boss called in Peppercorn Cookie and Chili Pepper Cookie to assign them a mission, the steal from the Yogurt Mansion. On the job, the two are caught by Guard Cookies, and they decide to split up to get away. Chili Pepper Cookie flees with the treasure while Peppercorn Cookie distracts the guards. The two agree to meet up on the White Sand Dunes. Peppercorn Cookie spends hours waiting for Chili Pepper Cookie to appear at the rendezvous, only to realize that she has been betrayed. Back in the present, still stuck in the trap in the Serpent Temple, Peppercorn Cookie reveals that because of that incident, she was banished from the Sneaky Sands Clan and has been plotting revenge on Chili Pepper Cookie ever since. Chili Pepper Cookie convinces Peppercorn Cookie to put aside their differences and work together in order to escape from Jelly Serpent Cookie, and the two manage to escape the temple with the treasured gold pot in tow. Afterwards, Peppercorn Cookie is surprised when Chili Pepper Cookie seemingly lets Peppercorn Cookie have the treasure and they seem to reconcile. It's only later when meeting with her client that Peppercorn Cookie realizes that she's been betrayed by Chili Pepper Cookie once again.

Lilac Cookie ventures to the Mirage Village, the home of the Sneaky Sands Clan, with 
Scorpion Cookie. When night falls, Lilac Cookie ventures into the Village's marketplace, looking for a certain golden vial. He overhears two Merchant Cookie's talking about how the current leader of the Clan is preparing to step down. The merchant's speculate on who the next leader will be, noting 
Centipede Cookie as a candidate, but mentioning that Lilac Cookie himself would've been a great leader, had he not left long ago. Centipede Cookie cuts into the conversation, annoyed that the merchants are talking about a traitor. Lilac Cookie tries to leave, but Centipede Cookie recognizes him, and attacks. A flashback occurs, revealing that back at the Yogurt Mansion, 
Yogurt Cream Cookie has been sleeping more than usual, and the Mansion's Assistant Cookie's are having trouble waking him up. They ask Lilac Cookie to try to wake him. Lilac recognizes the scent lingering around Yogurt Cream Cookie, and makes haste towards the market.
