Inferno Whisperer (Korean: 강철이, gangcheol-i) is an NPC that first appears in Yakgwa Village: Haunting Tales update's event game mode and story, Yakgwa Village: Haunting Tales. While Inferno Whisperer does not have any sprites story-wise, it takes the role as one of the monsters that 
Gim Cookie needs to exorcise.

- Inferno Whisperer makes an appearance in Gim Cookie's Ghost Index 👻, with a description that reads as such:
- A giant serpent that failed to become a dragon is consumed by unfulfilled desire and anger. Due to its fury, the intense heat scorches through Cookies and engulfs all surrounding vegetation, bringing fires and droughts.
- Like its Korean name suggests, Inferno Whisperer is based upon the gangcheol-i (강철이), a creature in Korean folklore that, filled with rage after failing to become a dragon, goes about ravaging the land with the heat of its anger.
