Junior Sleuth Ted (Korean: 조수 테디, josu tedi, "Assistant Teddy") is an Epic Pet that was released alongside its owner, Walnut Cookie, in the first half of the Cheesecake Manor Mystery update. It occasionally retrieves random objects that were overlooked by the Cookie for points.
Always nose-deep into detective novels, Walnut Cookie was gifted with this adorable walnut teddy bear that she named Ted. On the first day they met, she gave Ted an important task: become her crime-solving partner! These two have been through thick and thin ever since.
Ted faithfully collects anything and everything that looks suspicious, but sometimes brings irrelevant things, too...

The original concept for Junior Sleuth Ted had its name to be "Smart Walnut". Smart Walnut had glasses instead of a bow tie and was said to be older than Walnut Cookie. It was also described as "Support, assistant, adviser, and Wise".
