Licorice Cookie (Korean: 감초맛 쿠키, gam-cho-mat kuki) is an Epic Cookie released alongside his Pet, Bat-Cat, in the second half of The Battle for Fate update. He summons Licorice Servants, commanding them to do various actions that earn him points.
With a great portion of the blackest licorice extract in his dough and a grim-looking scythe, this Cookie is up to no good.
From a young age, Licorice Cookie dreamed of becoming a wizard but never received the recognition he so rightfully deserved. Eventually, he turned to the forbidden arts of Black Magic. With time, Licorice Cookie assembled a small army of Chewy Licorice Servants raised to do his bidding. On his dark path, he met Dark Enchantress Cookie. The might of the sorceress astonished Licorice Cookie, and it didn't take long before he swore his allegiance. Now, the Cookie is working flat out to earn his new mistress's favor.
It seems like Dark Enchantress Cookie is not easily pleased, as Licorice Cookie's diary filled with everyday rants and complaints could now fill up a library.

Once the small gauge is full, Licorice Cookie summons devious Licorice Servants that perform various abilities after a certain period. Licorice Chargers rush forward and destroy obstacles. Licorice Bombers create a giant explosion which leaves behind Skeleton Bomb Jellies. Licorice Potion Keepers toss Potions. Level Up to earn more points for Licorice Servants' abilities.

Magic Candy
Spirits appear at certain intervals. When a spirit is present, Double Jumping turns the Slide button into a Reaper Button. Use the Reaper button to siphon the spirit's vitality for points. After reaping a certain number of spirits, Licorice Cookie will summon a Giant Licorice Minion that charges forward, blocking holes and destroying everything in its path. The stronger the enchanted power, the more points earned from reaping spirits and summoning the Giant Licorice Minion.

As Licorice Cookie's release in Cookie Run: OvenBreak was shortly after April Fools Day, most official social media was jokingly "taken over" by him for the day, including changing all emotes to feature him instead of other Cookies in the official Cookie Run Discord server.

Licorice Cookie's Giant Licorice Minion has its design based loosely off of the Waffle Golem CM Mic Mac designed for the first iteration of OvenDrawing. This fact can be seen more clearly with the original rough draft of Licorice Cookie's skill. CM Mic Mac would later make a tweet first confirming the homage as legitimate and then stating the reason this was scrapped was "because we felt it didn't match the overall atmosphere/concept enough". He still wants justice for Waffle Golem, though.
