Live Challenge is a reoccuring event in Cookie Run: OvenBreak. It was first introduced on April 26, 2022 to coincide with the Cookie Sports Day! update's release.
Gameplay Details[]
Live Challenge is an event where you get to play different mini-maps every day! Test your luck and skills!
Live Challenge
- Live Challenge is a new event mode that is available for a month.
- Games will be open twice daily, for 2 hours each. Each game consists of 6 different rounds, and each has different Combis and maps automatically chosen for you.
- When you clear a round, you will receive Challenge Cash as a reward and advance to the next round.
- If you fail to pass a round, the game ends.
- If you wish to retry you will have to start from round 1 again. You can retry each game up to 10 times.
Hearts
- 1 Heart is required to play and 1 Heart is consumed each time you play. Hearts can also be bought with 990 Crystals, then doubling every time you buy another. Extra hearts only apply for one Live Challenge then disappear after.
- 3 Friendship Hearts are consumed for each retry.
How To Get Friendship Hearts
- Inviting a friend or if the invited friend completes a Friendship Heart Mission, you can gain extra Friendship Hearts.
- You can only invite new or returning players and up to 20 friends. (*You will still be able to invite more than 20 friends, however, from 20 and up, Friendship Hearts will not be given.)
- If you are a new or returning player, input the friend's code who invited you to gain Friendship Hearts or complete Friendship Heart Missions.
- You can input only up to 1 invitation code.
Prize
- If you pass all 6 rounds, you will share the prize pool with other players who passed.
- Every game's final prize amount is 5,000,000 Challenge Cash split among all winners of the current Live Challenge, and at least 100 Challenge is guaranteed after the final calculation.
- Challenge Cash is given out after the calculation of the results.
Compensation
- After 2 hours of the game, result calculation will take place for 10 minutes.
- After the calculation, Challenge Cash is given out to all who passed every round.
- You cannot enter the game once the result calculation is in progress. You will need to wait for the next game to open.
- The players who are still playing after the result calculation is over will be eliminated.
Other
- The fixed Combis will all be set to MAX level. Even Combis that you do not own will be playable at MAX level in Live Challenge.
- The following standard Treasure Combis will be fixed to level 1: Shield Bubble Gun, Winged Jelly of Resurrection, Jelly Topped Cupcake. Here you may play at a lower level than the actual Combi level.
- In certain rounds, Treasure Combis change, and they are fixed at their MAX level.
- In certain rounds, Magic Candy may be fixed at a lower level. You may be playing at a lower level than the actual Magic Candy level.

Choose your Path!
- Goal: Reach the End of the Map! Clear within 40 sec
Run as Zombie Cookie in Tower of Frozen Waves, the player needs to choose between two paths by either simply running or double jumping to change paths, green arrows briefly appear to indicate a safe path that does not contain a freezing obstacle, if hit, the player must press Jump and Slide repeatedly to escape.

Run as Skater Cookie in Rambutan Cookie's Village, the player repeatedly chooses between three buttons on a cliff after passing by a Cannon gate, after one button is chosen, a cannon will appear and the cookie will enter and be launched subsequently, the distance and speed of the canon is random depending on the button pressed, additional cannons and Blast Mode Jellies are placed on the map.

- Prior to the 2nd Live Challenge of March 9, 2023, Live Challenges only lasted for 1 hour. It was extended to 2 hours per challenge in an effort to make Live Challenge more accessible.
- The Live Challenge with the least amount of winners so far is the 1st Live Challenge of March 9, 2023 with only 93 winners, each being rewarded 53,764 Challenge Cash. The low win count was due to a bug in the final round that involved using a submarine which had the submarine be invisible. Players who got to Round 6 received compensation.
