“ Need a Treasure? Make it shine & I'll give it to you! „ — Cheesecake Cookie
Make it Shine!, also known as Make it Glitter! in earlier versions, is a recurring Event in Cookie Run: OvenBreak. Each new Treasure released is accompanied by a Make it Shine! Event to help players obtain it, and most buffs of old Treasures are accompanied by a different form of Make it Shine! as well. In this Event, a list of missions are given to complete in order to scrub and clean the Treasure before it is given to the player. In addition to the featured Treasure, completing the missions gives other rewards such as Treasure Incantations.
Make it Shine! New Treasure[]

Making the Horse Figurine Shine.
Starting with the July 29th, 2019 release of Fabled Magic Carpet, the Make it Shine! Event of new Treasures is different from the version for buffed Treasures. This version is hosted by Cheesecake Cookie, who gives missions in three sets of six. Each mission has a reward, including Coins, Magic Powder, Treasure Incantations, Special Blessing Tickets, and the Magic Ingredients for the Magic Candy of the Cookie who released at the same time as the featured Treasure. Fully completing one of the sets will reward the player with a single copy of the Treasure and unlock the next set. This means three total copies of the Treasure are gained once all missions are completed.
The first set of missions does not require the featured Treasure to be used, as the player has no guarantee of owning it yet, but the second and third sets of missions do require it. The first set of missions also always includes a mission to draw Treasures at the Gacha, rewarding players for trying to get the new Treasure there.
Make it Shine! Buffed Treasure[]

Making the Ageless Peach Pit Shine.
Make it Shine! Events for recently upgraded older Treasures function like all Make it Shine! Events before Season 4. There are a larger amount of missions, and completing each one gives a reward as well as Sheen Points. Collecting Sheen Points gives an additional reward for each 20 points, up to 100 for the final reward, a Special 10+1 Incantation. There is always more than 100 Sheen Points available, so not all the missions need to be completed.
Like Make it Shine! for new Treasures, three copies of the Treasure are obtained, but these are each from a single mission rather than being the primary reward. Some missions can be repeated every day, and give Sheen Points and their normal reward each time. This reward is usually something cheap such as Rescue Tickets. Other missions can give Coins, Crystals, Magic Powder, Treasure Incantations, Special Blessing Tickets, Treasure Enhancement Tickets, and Magic Candy Magic Ingredients.

Trivia[]
- When multiple Treasures are buffed at the same time, they share a Make it Shine! Event. Each mission only focuses on one Treasure, but all the Sheen Points are pooled together.
- Before Season 4, the rewards for Shine Points could include new Cookies and Pets. Newer Events give out the same amount of new Cookies and Pets, but they are distributed among other Events.
