Millennial Tree Cookie was originally visible as a statue-like tree in the background of Gloomy Winded Grove before his inclusion to the game. The official Cookie Run twitter made note of this in an announcement[2] just prior to his release, and this asset was then removed after he was released to the game.
Millennial Tree Cookie bears some resemblance to a dryad, a tree nymph or tree spirit in Greek mythology.
Millennial Tree Cookie's protector is Wind Archer Cookie, as evident by Wind Archer Cookie's Guardian of the Millennial Tree Costume, further proven by Millennial Tree Cookie's Relationship Chart.
Millennial Tree Cookie had an unused asset for a Trial preview square featuring him alongside the Cursed Throne stage from The City of the Millennial TreeBreakout, before Dino-Sour Cookie was released. This may mean he was originally intended to have a Trial upon release before this idea was scrapped.
Millennial Tree Cookie, alongside the four mystical animals,Magmabird, Emerald Golem, Ocean Dragon, and Thundersnow Yeti, are all featured in the murals found in the City of the Millennial Tree. It is currently unclear what the relationship between the Cookie and the Pets is, though it's likely they have a deep connection as they are all protectors of the land.
