Obscure Umbra Cookie (Korean: 흑마교주 쿠키, hugmagyoju kuki, "Black Demon Cult Leader Cookie") is a Legendary Cookie released alongside their Pet, 
Toxic Deershroom, in the first half of The Legend of the Spirit Weapons update.
They are the leader of the Cult of the Umbral Pact, which seeks to unseal the Ebony Dragon.
Story[]
Do not be deceived by their seemingly languid demeanor, for they are in possession of power that allowed them to single-handedly take command over a position of absolute supremacy. With uncrumbling dough and a wise yet ageless gaze, they rule over the sect, demanding absolute obedience.
Their dough, already once dipped into the realm of the forbidden, knows no limits to greed and lust for power. Ultimately, they strive to break the seal and awaken the great Ebony Dragon...
As malevolent darkness ascends wielding a newfound power, may unprecedented chaos and destruction rain down upon all creation...!

- Obscure Umbra Cookie's design was first teased during the CookieRun: OvenBreak 2025 Roadmap Stream.
- Obscure Umbra Cookie's original Korean name (흑마교주 쿠키, hugmagyoju kuki) is highly different from their English name, a more literal translation being Black Demon Cult Leader Cookie. This drastic change was assumedly done due to their original name's difficult-to-localize nature; while the Korean language is able to convey a multitude of information in merely four characters as seen in Obscure Umbra Cookie's original name, the same cannot be said for the character/word-heavy English language. Thus, an English name which differs entirely from the meaning of the original Korean name but still evokes the same feeling of darkness was settled upon.
- The player can unlock Poison Mushroom Cookie on Obscure Umbra Cookie's relationship chart by putting Obscure Umbra Cookie in the Singing Glowshroom Forest Lobby.
- In the modern release style of Cookie Run: OvenBreak, Obscure Umbra Cookie is the third Legendary Cookie to be released in the first half of an update, following Dreamweaver Cookie and Stevia Nova Cookie.
