Red Equinox (Korean: 석산꽃신, sokssankkotssin, "Lycoris Flower Goddess") is a Super Epic Costume for Cherry Blossom Cookie. It is her second Costume, released in the first half of The Dragon's Garden Paradise update. It can be obtained either by drawing it from the Costume Gacha or by purchasing it in the Rainbow Crystal Shop.

Story

Ancient legends claim a Cookie lives in the solitude of the mountains, surrounded by groves of cherry blossoms and flowers of the deepest crimson. When travelers stumble onto this secluded garden, the cherry blossoms gracefully fall and scarlet petals flutter into the air as if on cue! Some say that there is no escape from such a spectacle. Others who seek this grove would say something too, but they've yet to return...

• Red Equinox draws heavily from the Japanese culture that surrounds the red spider lily, which is also known as the "Flower from the Other Shore" (彼岸花). In Japanese folklore, these flowers are said to grow on the shore of a region similar to the afterlife known as "Higan" (彼岸). During the autumn equinox, people who have passed away and gone to Higan temporarily return to the world of the living in the form of red spider lilies. This theme is evident throughout the story and quotes in Red Equinox, which mention that people who seek the grove never return, among other lines.
  • Additionally, red spider lilies are often called the "equinox flower", which might be the source of the English name for the Costume.
