Rescue Tickets are common consumable items in Cookie Run: OvenBreak. When a Cookie falls into a pit and drops offscreen, the option to rescue them will appear for a short time. If the player chooses to rescue, they will pay one Rescue Ticket, or 20 Crystals if no Tickets are owned. The Cookie's Pet will lift them out of the hole and they will be able to continue running. This costs a small amount of Energy, and Cookies cannot be rescued if they have less than 5 Energy. During the rescue, Cookie and Pet skills will pause, and the cookie will have a magnetic effect. If a Cookie that fell is not rescued in time, they will lose all their Energy and their run will end.
On Day 7 of Burning Days, no Rescue Tickets need to be spent to rescue a Cookie. The Pets Little Ghost, Rocket Firecracker, Lifesaver, and Mr. Limeguard, and the Treasure Carrot Pudding Trampoline can be used to rescue a Cookie safely without losing Energy or spending any Crystals or Rescue Tickets.
Rescue Tickets are a common reward from many sources, and even careless players will likely gain Rescue Tickets faster than they are spent.
Previously, players would deliberately fall into pits and then rescue the Cookie to use the magnetic effect in an area with many Jellies, to have a different amount of Energy when entering the next Bonus Time, or because there was some advantage for having their skills activate later. This tactic was especially common after the Season 4 update, when multiple rescues per run were introduced. Even before the Season 4 update, rescues were sometimes used when a Cookie was about to run out of Energy, as the Cookie would not collapse until the rescue was finished. As intentionally falling into holes is rather unintuitive and was not an intended strategy, rescue mechanics were changed on November 26, 2019 so Cookies would lose some Energy when rescued. Cyborg Cookie's Trial, Roguefort Cookie's Trial and Knight Cookie's Trial all had reasons to intentionally fall at particular spots during their New Cookie Cups.
