Elderberry Cookie is observing the constellations from his hilltop observatory as he always does when he realizes one of his favorite constellations appears to be falling from the sky. On the same night, Starfruit Cookie receives a prophecy in her dreams regarding the falling constellation.
Dialogue
Moonlight Cookie: The night is when magic awakens... Listen to how the stars rumble in the darkness...
Moonlight Cookie: They emit their light, singing songs of an unfamiliar night... Could this be nothing but a dream...?
Elderberry Cookie: *Yawn*... I haven't slept so welling quite a while. I feel like I was dreaming about something, but it slips my mind...
Elderberry Cookie: It's quite unlike me to doze off while reading, but I suppose it's no surprise. I've been observing stars from the observation tower for days...
Elderberry Cookie: That's enough rest, though. Time to get back to my observations. Where did I leave off...
Elderberry Cookie: The "head" of Ursa Gelata Major seems to have shifted to the northeast. And the "tail" of Felis Libum... has shifted to the south! Yes, I remember clearly now.
Elderberry Cookie: It seems it's finally time... to observe that one special constellation...
Elderberry Cookie: The constellation I have kept a close eye on for ages... since my time in the abandoned city...
Elderberry Cookie: Its stars have shone faithfully, even when I lost my path... my entire meaning in the darkness of the night.
Elderberry Cookie: Ah, yes! There it is. Still shining as bright as ever... Could the stars' brightness be proportionate to their proximity to us?
Elderberry Cookie: Let me get a closer look...
Elderberry Cookie: Are my eyes deceiving me?! The stars just shifted...
Elderberry Cookie: No, I'm absolutely certain! They've shifted completely out of sight of my telescope!
Elderberry Cookie: What is happening? They've never left their faithful orbit, not once over all these years...
Elderberry Cookie: No, no... The stars aren't simply shifting. The constellation they taught me of so, so long ago... It's...!
Elderberry Cookie: It's falling...!
Elderberry Cookie: I must remain calm. Think, Elderberry Cookie, think. I can calculate its projected landing point by checking the speed and its direction! It's heading towards.. the Pantheon of Starlight?!
Pomegranate Cookie:Starfruit Cookie, I have been waiting for your arrival. You seem tired. I something amiss?
Starfruit Cookie:Pomegranate Cookie...? How did you get here? How dare you speak to me so readily, after everything that happened!
Pomegranate Cookie:Why are you angry at me? Are we not friends? Feel free to share your concerns with me at any time. After all... I am the only one who truly understands you.
Starfruit Cookie:How... How dare you!
Starfruit Cookie:Wait, I understand now... This is not reality, is it? Pomegranate Cookie... Why did you do that to me? You must have gotten a great laugh out of how I trusted you enough to open up.
Pomegranate Cookie:...
Pomegranate Cookie:Starfruit Cookie, let me give you an amusing little tip. A star is set to fall... and there is nothing you can do about it.
Starfruit Cookie: What? Wait, Pomegranate Cookie! Wait, tell me more, what's going to happen—
Priestesses of the Stars: Starfruit Cookie! High Oracle Starfruit Cookie! It's an emergency! A star has fallen from the sky!
Starfruit Cookie: What...? A star has truly fallen?
Starfruit Cookie: I must visit the Nebula Spring immediately. Everyone, return to your positions and prepare to send our wishes to the stars!
The True Constellations[]
In-game Summary
The constellation has fallen upon the Pantheon of Starlight! Elderberry Cookie goes there with his observation tools in hand, but he ends up running into Starfruit Cookie. Surprised by the unexpected visitor, Starfruit Cookie questions his purpose for visiting the Pantheon, but Elderberry Cookie keeps avoiding giving a straightforward answer!
Starfruit Cookie despairs upon witnessing the murky Nebula Spring, and the strange Cookie says it's all her fault.
Dialogue
Elderberry Cookie: Hup...! The gates the the Pantheon... are surrounded by guards. I best just scale the walls. I never would have thought a Cookie like me would be breaking into the Pantheon at night...
Elderberry Cookie: All those nights of studying and observation have done nothing for my strength. My dough is so stiff... Ugh. I'll toss my observation tools over first.
Starfruit Cookie: Ouch! What is this sack...? I don't think I've seen this in the Pantheon before. Who threw this?
Elderberry Cookie: Oh my, I didn't see the Cookie on the other side. A passing Oracle, perhaps...? I'd love to chat, but I'm in a bit of a hurry!
Starfruit Cookie: Wait! Who are you?! I can't see anything through all of this smoke... Are they after the Nebula Spring?!
Starfruit Cookie:(Was this what my dream was trying to warn me about?)
Starfruit Cookie: If that's the case, I will not make the same mistakes as last time! Guards, over he—EEK!
Elderberry Cookie: Oh, sorry! It's so smoky. I appear to have missed my landing! No need to fret, I'm not after some simple spring water. I'm a scholar with my sights set higher—with the constellation!
Elderberry Cookie: The Nebula Springs, said to relay the stars' guidance... I have even less interest in such frivolous thing! I only believe in facts gathered through research and observations!
Starfruit Cookie: You must be Elderberry Cookie, the one who owns the observatory on to op the hill. Are you truly insulting the stars in front of this Pantheon's High Oracle?
Elderberry Cookie: Hah! As if I would ever insult the stars! No Cookie loves and understands the stars more than I do. You must understand, astronomy is reading and studying the stars. Nothing more, nothing less!
Elderberry Cookie: Anyway, time is short. I will be on my way! I'm quite fascinated to see just what those ever-so-distant stars will look like up close and in person!
Starfruit Cookie: Stop trying to change the subject and run away! Quite bold of you to considering you've just attempted to sneak into the Pantheon without permission!
Elderberry Cookie: What point is there to such petty conversation when there is a constellation among us! Are you not curious what happens to their light when they fall to the surface? This is the opportunity of a lifetime!
Starfruit Cookie: I'm not—hey! Come back here! That's the Nebula Spring! Stop!!!
Elderberry Cookie: Where, oh where could that star have gone... It must be somewhere around here. I can't see a single Cookiemeter ahead of me due to this blasted dust!
Elderberry Cookie: I even brought my special Starshard Bottle... *COUGH*
Starfruit Cookie: Elderberry Cookie! Are you in there? Ugh, why is he so fast... and what's with all this dust... *COUGH COUGH*
???: Zzz... Mm... Zzz...
Elderberry Cookie: Can you quiet down, Starfruit Cookie? This place is chaotic enough even without your heavy breathing! I cannot focus on my research!
Starfruit Cookie: Heavy breathing?! That's not me! I can't see a single thing through all this dust and smoke...
???: Zzz... Zzzzz...
Starfruit Cookie: Wait... That sounds like snoring, doesn't it?
Elderberry Cookie: You're quite right. I t does sound like snoring... Oh, the moonlight is making it a bit easier to see! Will I finally get my first glimpse of a star...?!
Elderberry Cookie: What was that? Bocconcini cheese birds? I've never heard of such a thing... Well, I am an astrologist, not an ornithologist.
Starfruit Cookie: That's not important right now! I've never heard of a Cookie sleeping in this Pantheon!
Elderberry Cookie: Not to mention all the chaos from the falling stars... Are those horns on their head?
Taurus Cookie: Mmnn... The laaaast jellyyyyy... My Jellyyyyy... *Grumble*
Taurus Cookie: Mmnh?! Wheeere ammm I?
Elderberry Cookie: How timely of you to join us in the waking world. Have you seen any falling constellations? Something grandiose, celestial, possibly shining or shimmering—
Taurus Cookie: Faaaalling constellaaaaatioooonsss? I feeeell thoughhhhhh...
Elderberry Cookie: I understand you must be quite sleepy or confused with all this mess, but could you speak a bit more clearly? There were constellations, groups of stars, falling straight towards this Pantheon. It's quite possible all this smoke and dust is the result of that—
Starfruit Cookie: Hello there! I'm Starfruit Cookie, an Oracle here at the Pantheon. Where did you come from? I can sense the sacred power of the stars from your horns...
Elderberry Cookie: The power of the stars? I'm quite curious, could you explain that to me? Is this power visible, or is it something you sense through touch?
Elderberry Cookie: Would that lead us to the fallen constellation?
Starfruit Cookie: Stop asking questions if you are not going to give me a chance to answer them! And the power of the stars is not something that can be explained or understood with just a few words... It is something the stars must guide you to!
Elderberry Cookie: Guided by the stars... This reminds me of the academic theory that the stars each follow their own paths.
Starfruit Cookie: I cannot speak for that theory, but I know what I feel instinctively. If you with to know more... I could ask the Nebula Spring.
Starfruit Cookie: *Gasp* The Nebula Spring! Why are its waters so unclear!
Starfruit Cookie: No...! How... How could I have let this happen? Stars, heed my call!
Starfruit Cookie: Please... Stars, head my call! We require your guidance! I can't... I can't sense anything...
Starfruit Cookie: Please... I will reflect upon my wrongdoings as Oracle. I'll do whatever is needed to return the Nebul Spring's guidance to us...!
Taurus Cookie: Leave me aloooooneeeee! I'mmmm gonnaaaa eattt Jellieeeesss...!
A Star Banished[]
In-game Summary
The Constellation Cookies live high, high up above the Cookie surface world in the Celestial Temple, which also houses the Celestial Spring that feeds the Nebula Spring in the Pantheon.
Taurus Cookie was supposed to guard the Spring, but was lazy going about her duties. This lead to an argument with Aquarius Cookie, who eventually crumbles, resulting in both Springs becoming murky and blocking communication between the Celestial Temple and the Pantheon!
Taurus Cookie is banished to the surface as punishment, where she must complete a task to return.
Dialogue
Aquarius Cookie: Taurus Cookie, what do you mean you're going to eat Jellies? You just had Choco Berries! I told you to go patrol the outside of the Celestial Temple!
Taurus Cookie: Aquarius Cookieeee... Come onnnnn, let's rest a littleeee moooooreeee...
Aquarius Cookie: This Celestial Spring is the source of the Nebula Spring on the surface. It is YOUR duty to protect that sacred stream!
Aquarius Cookie: Have you forgotten that Spring is the way they communicate with the surface?
Taurus Cookie: But whooo does it neeeeed protecting froooom?
Aquarius Cookie: They... They didn't tell us that! I(sic) just needs to be protected! Who knows what kind of evil Cookies may try to attack the Spring?!
Taurus Cookie: Buuuttt there are no eviiillll Coookiesssss hereeee... I juuust wanna playyy with the bocconciniiii cheeseee birdssss...
Libra Cookie: Hahaha, she's got you there, Aquarius Cookie! Taurus Cookie has a point.
Libra Cookie: The Celestial Temple and Spring have never been anything but peaceful. Taurus Cookie could be a bit less lazy, though!
Taurus Cookie: Libraaa Cookieeee, you're so meaaannnn...
Aquarius Cookie: This isn't the time to take sides! We each have our own duties as constellation Cookies! On top of that, even excluding all logic and circumstances, laziness is a severe fault!
Libra Cookie: You're not wrong there. My scale is tilting towards wrong, after all! Hahaha. You all know I have to work out who's right and who's wrong, and on that front I'm definitely on Aquarious Cookie's side.
Taurus Cookie: Awww, come onnn... Fiiiine... I'll go dooo itttt... after one more bite of cheeese...
Aquarius Cookie: Nope, absolutely not! Only Cookies who have done their fair share of work get to eat snacks! I'll be taking these from you.
Libra Cookie: Aquarius Cookie, that might not be a good idea...
Taurus Cookie: Nooooo!!! Giiiive it baaaaack!!! I saaaved those to eat laterrrrr!!!
Aquarius Cookie: No, they're mine until you finish your duties! Use this as an opportunity to reflect on your laziness and procrastination!
Taurus Cookie: Nooooo!!! MY CHEESEEEE!!!
Libra Cookie: Calm down, Taurus Cookie! Aquarius Cookie, stop it. She's always been sensitive when it comes to food, if you don't stop provoking her, you'll--
Libra Cookie: *Sigh* You'll crumble while fighting again... Too late. This is why Taurus Cookie always ends up getting punished...
Taurus Cookie: Are you okayyyy, Aquarius Cookieeee? Oh noooo, the spriiing is murkyyyy...
Libra Cookie: When Aquarius Cookie crumbled some of the starlight flowed into the Celestial Spring.
Libra Cookie: Too much star power flowed into the Spring at once, making it dull because it couldn't contain the power. This has cut off our way to share their guidance with the surface.
Libra Cookie: Whelp. Haha, guess it's my time to shine! Aquarius Cookie, Taurus Cookie, your wrongdoings will be weighed by my scale.
Libra Cookie: Whoever's wrongdoings held more weight in this situation will be punished.
Libra Cookie: Left or right, who shall face punishment's plight... Taurus Cookie, it seems like you were more in the wrong!
Taurus Cookie: Ohhh...
Libra Cookie: First, you failed to fulfill your duties, instead choosing to laze around. Second, your tussling lead to Aquarius Cookie's pitcher crumbling, which resulted in the muddying of the Celestial Spring!
Aquarius Cookie: Libra Cookie, Taurus Cookie didn't do it on purpose. And you all know how easily I crumble... I'm rather fragile.
Libra Cookie: Yes, I know. But look at what happened! Not meaning wrong does not mean what happened wasn't bad. What matters is how you handle the results of those actions!
Libra Cookie: Ah, the one who resides at the heart of our temple has spoken! You must go to the surface and only return once you've obtained pure, sweet honey with which to repair Aquarius Cookie!
Taurus Cookie: The surfaaaaceee?
Aquarius Cookie: Taurus Cookie doesn't know much, will she really be okay going to the surface on her own?
Libra Cookie: They have spoken. Consider this a test. A test that she must overcome on her own.
Libra Cookie: As of this moment, Taurus Cookie shall be banished from the Celestial Temple. The Celestial Gates for your return will appear once you have rightfully atoned for your wrongdoings and balanced the scales. May you learn from this experience.
Taurus Cookie: Huhhh...? I'm falliiiiiingggggg!!!
Aquarius Cookie: Taurus Cookie!
Taurus Cookie: Byeeeee, Aquarius Cookieeeee! I'll be baaaack! I can do iiitttt!
Taurus Cookie: And that's whyyyyy I'm heeeere...!
Observing the Constellations[]
In-game Summary
Elderberry Cookie refuses to accept Taurus Cookie's claims that she is a constellation. However, Starfruit Cookie and the Oracles sense the power of the stars from this mysterious Cookie, trusting her fully and preparing a ceremony to help her return to her place among the stars.
Elderberry Cookie: So you're telling me that you are one of the constellations in the sky? And you want me to believe this? Can you prove it?
Taurus Cookie: Prooove iiiittt? Do I haaveee toooo...?
Elderberry Cookie: All you've done is conveniently stuck together bits and pieces of different legends! And a constellation being banished due to laziness? Don't make me laugh!
Elderberry Cookie: That's an insult to the great constellations, true blasphemy! As per my observations, the constellations have never done anything but shine beautifully!
Taurus Cookie: Thank youuuuu!
Elderberry Cookie: I was not speaking of you! Either way, I did not come here to listen to ridiculous stories.
Elderberry Cookie: Where is the true fallen star?
Starfruit Cookie: I can still sense a sacred power radiating from those horns... and from the Camembert cheese mallet. Both are filled with a magical energy.
Starfruit Cookie: Could this truly be the advent of one of our sacred stars? I must gather the star keepers and prepare a ceremony!
Elderberry Cookie: Preposterous! Unfathomable! I must observe my special constellation once again.
Elderberry Cookie: Follow the aim of Crustulum Orion, past Cucurbita Auriga, and I should come across the brightest constellation, but... but it's still missing. It has been days...
Elderberry Cookie: It's almost as if it was never there. I was hoping that my constellation was not that which had fallen, but...
Elderberry Cookie: I cannot rule out the possibility that it is simply hidden behind a nebulous cloud created by a nearby explosion! Let me adjust my telescope's settings...
Elderberry Cookie: Adjust the aperture to collect more light, magnify for a closer look...
Elderberry Cookie: Remember who you are, Elderberry Cookie... For ages, you have uncovered and recorded the faintest, most obscure stars in the night sky, even ones they never discovered.
Elderberry Cookie: Do not let the anxiety overcome you. Increase the magnification with a calm and steady hand. This will not be the first obscured star you have sought after.
Elderberry Cookie: ... I can't see anything. My tools are already at their limits, I can't magnify further than this.
Elderberry Cookie: I can see a faint light... But where is it coming from? It feels so familiar...
Elderberry Cookie: Taurus Cookie?!
Taurus Cookie: Hehe... It's prettyyyy. So this is what the skyyyy loooks liiiike...
Taurus Cookie: It's like a fieeeeld of twinkling floweeerssss... Or glittering rainnnnn... I used to beeee up thereeee.
Elderberry Cookie: Her horns have a faint glow to them... I've heard of organisms that glow organically, is it possible that's what her horns are made of?
Elderberry Cookie: It couldn't possibly be the "power of the stars" that Starfruit Cookie was talking about. What is she doing out there...?
Taurus Cookie: Starfruit Cookieeee said to stayyy in the templeee... Buuut I have to fiiind honeyyy for Aquarius Cookieeee.
Taurus Cookie: Honeyyy... *Sniff* Honeyyy?!
Taurus Cookie: It's honeyyy! I want to taste ittt. The honeyyy for Aquarius Cookie has to be suuuuper stickyyy and sweeeet...
Elderberry Cookie: Hah, caught red-handed! What a basic excuse to just eat some honey. Such a simple Cookie, I can tell what she's thinking even from all the way over here.
Elderberry Cookie: Isn't that a Fullmoon Wasp nest...? I've heard they're particularly defensive on nights where the moon shines brightly.
Elderberry Cookie: If they catch her going after the honey...
Taurus Cookie: Owww! That hurtssss! I'm sorryyyy, but... the honey is soooo gooood...
Elderberry Cookie: Amazing! She refuses to let go of the honey pot even while being attacked by a swarm of Fullmoon Wasps. Not a feat possible by the everyday glutton... Most Cookies' dough would already be swollen beyond recognition!
Elderberry Cookie: This self-proclaimed constellation, Taurus Cookie... She appears to have remarkable resilience. Assuming she is not simply a pathological liar, she appears to be lost in some delusion. She is of sound physical health...
Elderberry Cookie: However, she is very reckless in her manner. Not to mention quite... ignorant. Most Cookies should know that Fullmoon Wasps are dangerous.
Taurus Cookie: Come onnn... Just a bit of honeyyyy... Aquarius Cookieee, this is for youuu...
Taurus Cookie: Mmm... I love the sound of cricketssss... Zzz... I'll fix youuuu, Aquariusss Cookiee... Zzzzz...
Elderberry Cookie: Impressive adaptability. Or maybe it's just a lack of caution...
Elderberry Cookie: There is no way such a naïve Cookie could be a great constellation! They have looked upon this continent for ages, there's no way such a great being could be so ignorant.
Elderberry Cookie: I'm certain. Her claims are nothing more than a confused Cookie's delusions. I had best return to my observatory. *Sigh* it does appear as if she'll just sleep there all night if nobody wakes her...
Starfruit Cookie: No worries, Elderberry Cookie. We will look after her.
Elderberry Cookie: Starfruit Cookie? How did you get here? Did you follow the so-called "power of the stars"?
Starfruit Cookie: That's right! I followed the sparkling path shown to me by my staff. We were really shocked to find Taurus Cookie missing! Wouldn't have thought she'd come all the way here.
Priestesses of the Stars: We've found records of a ceremony to open the Celestial Gates in the Pantheon of Starlight! We would have carried it out immediately is she hadn't run off...
Starfruit Cookie: We can always hold the ceremony another time. There are more important matters at hand right now... We cannot leave this star with such an unfaithful Cookie.
Elderberry Cookie: Faith? Hmph. And what about this ceremony? There is a ceremony to open the Celestial Gates? Would you allow me to peruse these records?
Starfruit Cookie: Absolutely not! The records at the Pantheon are not for just any Cookie's eyes! I refuse to trust outsider Cookies anymore.
Taurus Cookie: Mmnh... It's so noisyyyy...
Elderberry Cookie: Hah. I bet you're refusing to share because there are no true records. Your silly "guidance" is all things that can be calculated scientifically just by observing the sky.
Priestesses of the Stars: *Gasp* How rude! High Oracle Starfruit Cookie, do not even grace his words with your attention!
Elderberry Cookie: It is a sign that rain is soon to come when the Boba Ants move in swarms and the stars closest to the moon shine with a faint red hue,
Elderberry Cookie: just as fog low above the waters and previously unseen stars shimmering in the moon's shadow are a well-known and well-recorded sign of an upcoming drought.
Elderberry Cookie: These are all facts that can be known and accurately predicted without your silly "guidance!"
Starfruit Cookie: How good for you to know all that! But you know, the stars tell us many more things without needing to coop ourselves up observing them!
Starfruit Cookie: If that is your stance on this, I hope you will enjoy watching from afar as we complete our ceremony to open the Celestial Gates.
Starfruit Cookie: I will stop at nothing to return the Nebula Spring to its original glory.
Elderberry Cookie: Fine! Then I will put my pride as a scholar at stake and give my all to scientifically prove that this Taurus Cookie is NOT a constellation!
Taurus Cookie: Huhhh...? Elderberry Cookieeee? Starfruit Cookieeeee? This honey is gooooood, do you want sooome?
Taurus Cookie: You don't have to ruuuuush, I like it heeere... I don't neeeeed to go baaack so faaast...
Cookies: Quiet, Taurus Cookie! Please be quiet, Taurus Cookie!
In Search of a Way[]
In-game Summary
Taurus Cookie is slowly adjusting to life on the surface. Elderberry Cookie, still doubtful of her true identity, visits the Pantheon once again in an attempt to make sense of what has happened and continue his own research.
Starfruit Cookie is working hard to make sense of the Pantheon's records to find a way to clear up the Nebula Spring and return Taurus Cookie to the night sky.
Dialogue
Priestesses of the Stars: Taurus Cookie, Taurus Cookie! Where are you? Please tell us about the Celestial Temple!
Caramel Priestess of the Stars: Taurus Cookie, Taurus Cookie! You do know the ceremony is to be held in the courtyard, yes?
Priestesses of the Stars: Taurus Cookie, Taurus Cookie! Those fruits are offerings to the stars! You cannot just eat them-
Taurus Cookie: Leaaave me alooooone... I want to sleeeeep... five more minutes...
Caramel Priestess of the Stars: High Oracle Star Fruit Cookie has uncovered new Pantheon records. You must go look them over with her!
Taurus Cookie: The records aren't going anywheeere... Nothing was about the Celestial Templeee...
Priestesses of the Stars: You still must attend to these matters! Have you forgotten how we missed the auspicious date because you were late to the previous ceremony?!
Taurus Cookie: I don't caaaarreee... I need to find honeyyyyy!
Caramel Priestess of the Stars: Taurus Cookie!!!
Taurus Cookie: *Sign* I thoughttt it'd be a good place to sleeeeep... But they keep naggingggg and naggingggg...
Taurus Cookie: Why are youuuu hiding hereeee, Elderberry Cookieeeee?
Elderberry Cookie: Oh, you realized I was here... I'm not hiding. I simply... uhm. Wished to apply to view the Pantheon's records.
Taurus Cookie: But the recoooords aren't avaiillableee to just anyoneeee... They already tooold youuu...
Elderberry Cookie: But... But I may need to reference those records in order to prove what you really are! The Pantheon must cooperate in recognition of our respective goals. It is only fair.
Starfruit Cookie: Fair? Cooperation? Elderberry Cookie did you sneak into the Pantheon again?
Elderberry Cookie: As far as I am aware, the Pantheon is open to any and all Cookies seeking answers! I made my way in through the main gates, thank you very much.
Starfruit Cookie: How thoughtful of you. I'm sure you're also aware that the inner parts of the Pantheon, including where Taurus Cookie staying, are still off limits to the visitors... right?
Elderberry Cookie: I... Well, uh... I just happened to wander in here!
Priestesses of the Stars: HEY! What are you doing here?! This place is strictly off limits, leave immediately!
Elderberry Cookie: Wait, I was just-
Starfruit Cookie: It's okay, you can relax. This is Elderberry Cookie from the observatory. He's here to speak with us.
Priestesses of the Stars: High Oracle Starfruit Cookie! We weren't aware you were here... and Taurus Cookie, too!!!
Taurus Cookie: Hiiiiii, Starfruit Cookieeeee! Can I talk to Elderberry Cookieee tooooo?
Starfruit Cookie: It's rare to see Taurus Cookie look so awake, so... I will allow this meeting! You had better not try anything sneaky, though, Elderberry Cookie.
Starfruit Cookie: Taurus Cookie, these are records regarding a time when the Pantheon opened the Celestial Gates. Does any of this loo familiar to you?
Taurus Cookie: Hmmm... I don't knoooooowwww.
Elderberry Cookie: Upon a night where moonlight is slight, stars gather and enact their might... What exactly could this mean?
Starfruit Cookie: A night where moonlight is slight... How exactly are the stars supposed to gather?
Starfruit Cookie: Maybe if I use my staff upon the night sky... But would a diagonal path be best? Or maybe a circle...
Starfruit Cookie: Do we have any more detailed records...?
Starfruit Cookie: I'm sure our Oracles will know best when it comes to the Pantheon's records. We can work this out without Elderberry Cookie's help!
Elderberry Cookie: Quite the confidence for a Cookie stuck on the first verse. You know there's nothing more arrogant than thinking what you believe is the only truth.
Starfruit Cookie: Hmph!!! Well then. What do you think it means?
Elderberry Cookie: Hah! Well, if you ask... The optimal environment for observing stars is one with little light interference. This includes the light reflected off the moon! The moonlight must be "slight" to make the stars appear more bright in the sky.
Elderberry Cookie: However, this will be quite difficult to achieve. We need a clear night without wind or clouds, but the moonlight must not be so bright as to dim the surrounding stars.
Starfruit Cookie: So that's what it means! So uh... but I already had some idea! Thanks for confirming what I suspected.
Elderberry Cookie: Glad to have helped. You know, I have spent enough time observing the night sky that I have a pretty good grasp of when it is best to observe the stars. With a few inferences from what is implies in your records... We may be able to figure something out.
Taurus Cookie: What kiiiind of somethiiiinggg?
Elderberry Cookie: Something like when we might be able to expect a night that fits the conditions to open the Gates!
Taurus Cookie: Wowwww! Starfruit Cookieeee, Elderberry Cookieee will help ussss
Starfruit Cookie: I don't really want to accept his help... but I do agree with what he said earlier. It is arrogant to think what you believe is the only truth-and this includes thinking one Cookie can solve everything on their own.
Starfruit Cookie: I don't know if we can trust you... Or any outsider, for that matter...
Elderberry Cookie: Hm I believe I have read that "trust" or faith, is one of you Oracles' main virtues. What do you have to lose just by allowing an outsider to view your records?
Taurus Cookie: He's riiiiight. And you trustttt meeee, Starfruit Cookieeeee! You're a goooood Cookieeee.
Starfruit Cookie: W-we should focus on understanding these passages! Elderberry Cookie, I'll have you know non of the records are to leave the Pantheon grounds! If we find you trying to swipe any of them-
A Gate Tightly Closed[]
In-game Summary
Starfruit Cookie tells Taurus Cookie, who has been enjoying life on the surface under the excuse of completing her task, that she's finally figured out the ceremony to send her back among the stars. The Oracles rush to begin the ceremony.
Taurus Cookie hesitates because she's not ready to return, and the Celestial Gates slam shut once again, causing the ceremony to fail.
Dialogue
Taurus Cookie: Todayyy I'm looking for honeyyy... Hiii, Olive Birdeee, do you want to eat this leaaaf?
Taurus Cookie: It's daaark... And it's rainiiiiing... Who knocked over the waterrr?
Taurus Cookie: Come heeere, I'll block the rainnnnn!
Elderberry Cookie: Is that Taurus Cookie? What is she doing... Don't tell me she's protecting that bird from the rain.
Elderberry Cookie: Taurus Cookie! It's raining, you'd better look for shelter! The rain will make your dough soggy!
Taurus Cookie: Huhhh? Elderberry Cookieeee, hiii!
Elderberry Cookie: Stop smiling and waving and come over here! You can stay dry in my observatory.
Taurus Cookie: Wowwww, what's this big thiiing?
Elderberry Cookie: Don't even think about touching anything! That "big thing" is my astronomical telescope, specifically for observing the constellation in the night sky. I made it with technology from my home.
Taurus Cookie: Your hoooome? My home is up in the skyyyy.
Elderberry Cookie: And there you go again. *Sigh* I asked you to come in to keep you safe, that does not mean I believe everything you say. Actually, this is the perfect oppertunity for you to assist me.
Elderberry Cookie: Would you let me have a look at your Camembert cheese mallet? I'd like to analyze it.
Taurus Cookie: Okayyyy as long as you don't breaaak iiit.
Taurus Cookie:You have so many interesting thiiiiings. Your observatoryyy is cooooool, Elderberry Cookieee.
Elderberry Cookie: Don't go around touching the gears willy-nilly! They're all set to view very specific stars!
Elderberry Cookie: That there is what allows me to predict the star's movements and the changing of the seasons.
Elderberry Cookie: Of course, that is only possible if I consistently collect accurate information with my telescope.
Taurus Cookie: Do youuuu just sit in one plaaaace?
Elderberry Cookie: Once I sit down to focus I do tend to stay there for quite some time. It's only natural as a scholar and a researcher. I have even stayed practically unmoving, studying the stars in detail, for days at a time without rest...
Taurus Cookie: Did you have fuuuun?
Elderberry Cookie: Fun...? Hm, I'm not sure about that. But I was not lonely because I had other scholars by my side.
Taurus Cookie: I stay in one place when I sleeep and eaaat, but I can't staaay when I haaave to proteeect the Springgg.
Elderberry Cookie: So now we're back to talking about your Celestial Spring, huh? True or not, that sounds like an attitude issue more than anything else. It's almost like you don't recognize that value of your duties.
Taurus Cookie: Huhhh... Maybe that's trueee.
Elderberry Cookie: What are you munching on over there? Please don't tell me you're eating the Jelly Parchment that was in my study.
Taurus Cookie: Mmm... Thiiiis is sooo chewyyyyy.
Elderberry Cookie: Spit that out right now! I'll have you know I bought that from someone extremely rich in Yogurca!
Taurus Cookie: It's yummyyyy. I haven't had aaanything to eaaat todayyyy!
Elderberry Cookie: I can't believe you... *Sigh* Here, I have some leftover beechnuts I was snacking on. Eat these.
Taurus Cookie: Wowww, these are goooood! Better than the parchmeeent
Elderberry Cookie: You're making me hungry... Now that I think about it, I don't think I've had a proper meal yet today. I should eat, too.
Taurus Cookie: Nooo, that are miiiiine!!!!
Elderberry Cookie: Okay, so you're quite sensitive when you're eating... I guess I had better make note of this. *Sigh* the beechnuts are all yours.
Taurus Cookie: Thank youuuu!
Elderberry Cookie: Let me get a closer look at this mallet. Under the microscope the particles and structure of the cheese are completely different from normal. How curious...
Taurus Cookie: AAAHHH!!!
Elderberry Cookie: What is the fuss about now?
Taurus Cookie: I'm sorryyyy. I wanted to heeeelp... But it broooooke...
Elderberry Cookie: Ahaha, you might want to just... leave it there. It seems like it's breathing more the more you try to fix it...
Taurus Cookie: I bareeely toucheeed it...
Elderberry Cookie: You are really are abnormally strong. I'd best test your strength and stamina...
Elderberry Cookie: Anyway, don't you dare go near my telescope. I have spare celestial globes but nothing can replace that telescope.
Taurus Cookie: Okayyyy, I guesss I'll reaaaaad...
Elderberry Cookie: You aren't going to eat my parchment again, are you?
Taurus Cookie: Noooooo, I wooooon't!
Elderberry Cookie: *Sign* Can't you stay still for just a few moments? Or just go back to the blasted Pantheon!
Elderberry Cookie: I can't focus on my research with you milling about. The tiniest miscalculation will lead to completely different results, so focus is key.
Elderberry Cookie: What I'm trying to say is... don't you think it's about time you head back? It's stopped raining outside.
Taurus Cookie: Okaaayyy... I'll see you tommorowwwww!
Elderberry Cookie: What a clumsy mess of a Cookie. If all the constellations were like this I'm sure there'd never be a peaceful moment in the night sky.
Elderberry Cookie: Show forgot her mallet. I could return it next time... No! She's already broke my concentration I might as well go with her to make sure she gets back to the Pantheon!
Starfruit Cookie: There you are, Taurus Cookie! Oh, and Elderberry Cookie is with you. We've finally deciphered how to open the Celestial Gates!
Starfruit Cookie: After the rain earlier, the night sky has cleared up beautifully. It's perfect weather for the ceremony. Just watch what happens, Elderberry Cookie!
Starfruit Cookie: Let's get started.
Taurus Cookie: Huhhh? Alreadyyyy? I haven't done aaaanythiiing yettt...
Starfruit Cookie: Stars, please light my path! Allow the Celestial Gates to return to their rightful place...
Priestesses of the Stars: A beam of light has descended from the sky! Starfruit Cookie, it's working!
Taurus Cookie: Huhhh? That sounds like Aquaaarius Cookieeee.
Priestesses of the Stars: The sky! The sky is speaking to us!
Starfruit Cookie: Did... did it work?! Oh stars, allow me to pray with all my might.
Starfruit Cookie: Please restore the Nebula Spring to what it once was...!
Elderberry Cookie: That light...! To believe the Celestial Gates would truly open...
Taurus Cookie: Wooooowwww, can I go hooome
Starfruit Cookie: Taurus Cookie, run into the light!
Taurus Cookie: Ohhh, okayyyy! Bye everyooooone!
Elderberry Cookie: What is even going on... The light is blinding. And I still cannot fathom that that Cookie could be a true constellation. There must be some sort of trick to this!
Starfruit Cookie: Elderberry Cookie, I cannot believe you won't believe you won't believe it even after seeing it with your own two eyes. Your doubt could affect the ceremony, maybe you should leave.
Taurus Cookie: Ohhh, I think I forgot somethiiiing...
Starfruit Cookie: What? Taurus Cookie, we don't know when we'll have another chance to return you to your rightful place! Don't hesitate now!
Taurus Cookie: Buuuut... I still haven't found honeyyyy...
Starfruit Cookie: That's okay we will give offerings of honey in your stead here at the Pantheon. We've already gone around gathering the best honey!
Taurus Cookie: Buuuut... I didn't find it myseeeelf...
Starfruit Cookie: Just trust me, Taurus Cookie! We're all praying for your sake. I may not be the strongest Cookie, but my sincere feelings for both you and the Nebula Spring cannot be beaten.
Caramel Priestess of the Stars: High Oracle Starfruit Cookie, the light is wavering...!
Starfruit Cookie: The Nebula Spring is still completely murky... What should we do? Are our wishes and prayers not enough...?
Priestesses of the Stars: The light is wavering even more! It might go out, High Oracle Starfruit Cookie...!
Taurus Cookie: The liiiight is goooone.
Starfruit Cookie:No...!
Starfruit Cookie: I... I can't believe it... Our ceremony failed. At this rate, we'll never restore the Nebula Spring!

Elderberry Cookie is forced to challenge his denial of the constellation Cookies' existence, while Starfruit Cookie is devastated when faced with a possible repeat of her past trauma. At this time, the star keepers rush to her, speaking of a commotion at the Pantheon...
Dialogue
Elderberry Cookie: How is Starfruit Cookie doing? Was she very upset about how things played out?
Caramel Priestess of the Stars: She's blaming herself because she thinks it was her shortcomings that lead to this... I'm sure she's afraid she won't be able to do anything like last time.
Taurus Cookie: But it's myyy fauuulttt... I was too slooowww.
Elderberry Cookie: Hurrying would not have done anything to affect the scale's fair judgement of your wrongdoings.
Taurus Cookie: But I don't knooow how to baaalance themmm...
Elderberry Cookie: And we're back to square one. We didn't come out of this empty-handed, though. We've confirmed that the Celestial Gates can be opened with a ceremony.
Elderberry Cookie: You should focus on finding clues about this honey you've been tasked with finding. I'll look through all of my research notes to see if I can find anything helpful.
Taurus Cookie: Okaaayyy, Elderberry Cookieee. I'll go taaalk with Starfruit Cookieee fiiirst.
Elderberry Cookie: I can't believe I truly witnessed the Celestial Gates open before my very eyes...
Elderberry Cookie: I refused to believe in any sort of magic or miracles following their departure. I simply decided to wait and do what I could to fulfill my duties
Elderberry Cookie: However I found very little meaning behind tracking the stars and collecting their power on my own. My research stagnated... and that's what drove me to leave.
Elderberry Cookie: But now, my analysis of the Camembert cheese mallet and observations of all the circumstances point to one clear answer.
Elderberry Cookie: Could it be true that Taurus Cookie is a real, living constellation? If I assume this to be undeniable fact, what should my next action be...?
Taurus Cookie: Starfruit Cookieee, are you okaaayyy? The Celestial Gates clooosed becauuuse I took too looong...
Starfruit Cookie: It wasn't your fault, Taurus Cookie... You weren't prepared, but we tried to force going through with the ceremony anyway. I should have listened to you.
Starfruit Cookie: I just thought... everything would work out as long as we could send you back. I was desperate to try to clear up the Nebula Spring.
Taurus Cookie: Starfruit Cookieee...
Starfruit Cookie: I won't give up though.
Starfruit Cookie: One thing I have learned is that nothing will be fixed by just standing around and doing nothing.
Starfruit Cookie: If I give up now and do nothing, we'll just be stuck with this problem forever. As long as we do something—anything!—we'll get somewhere, whether it's the right decisions or not.
Starfruit Cookie: And...
Taurus Cookie: Aaand...?
Starfruit Cookie:The stars answered my prayers in the end. I guess this could a sign the beings you were with are kind and warm-hearted.
Taurus Cookie: I dunnooo.... I guess they aaaare. They've been arouuund for a looong tiiime, always waaatching...
Starfruit Cookie: I see... Maybe they're watching us right now. I'd better do my best! We're all working hard to do what we must do under their watch!
Starfruit Cookie: I'm sure we'll uncover the hope within the darkness. Things aren't over quite yet... If we keep trying, I'm sure the day will come that the Celestial Gates will welcome you with open arms.
Taurus Cookie: That's riiight! I need to fiiind the honeeeyyy... Then the scaaales will balance outtt
Starfruit Cookie: Sounds good! Let's get going. We all have a lot to do!
Caramel Priestess of the Stars: High Oracle Starfruit Cookie! There's a big problem!
Starfruit Cookie: What's going on? Why are you all in such a rush?
The local Cookies are struggling with the guidance of the stars! They seek out Starfruit Cookie, who is still unable to pass on the stars' guidance due to the murky Nebula Spring... Witnessing this, Taurus Cookie realizes how big of a mistake she has made.
Elderberry Cookie arrives at the Pantheon and solves the Cookies' worries about the weather using the information he has gathered. When Starfruit Cookie thanks him for his assistance, he insists this is the right use of his knowledge.
Elderberry Cookie begins searching for a way to open the Celestial Gates in earnest.
Star Believer 1:High Oracle Starfruit Cookie! The sandstorms have not ended for days, it's beginning to affect our crops!
Star Believer 2: When will the air clear?
Star Believer 1: The weather isn't showing any sign of warming up, either. South of is it's pouring rain and to the north, the drought shows no sign of ending!
Star Believer 2:Please, what guidance have the stars given? what must we do?
Starfruit Cookie: Well... uh...
Starfruit Cookie: *Sigh* I'll be honest with everyone. The Nebula Spring's waters... have gone cloudy. We cannot receive the stars' guidance at this moment
Starfruit Cookie: I will do everything I can in order to communicate with the stars. They sometimes give their guidance through dreams...
Star Believer 1:But we need their guidance now! If our crops are ruined, our struggles will last throughout the upcoming year!
Taurus Cookie: Oh nooo... I didn't knooowww this would affeeect the Cookieees...
Taurus Cookie: I did somethiiing much wooorse than I first thouuught...
Elderberry Cookie: You're just now figuring that out? *Sigh* Everyone, calm down! If it's just the weather, I believe I can help you out.
Taurus Cookie: Elderberry Cookieee?!
Elderberry Cookie: This contains detailed records of the atmosphere and weather patterns, including how to predict upcoming rain and the standard durations of sandstorms.
Elderberry Cookie: While I cannot guarantee that it will be perfectly accurate without fail, these long-standing records should give us a decent estimate of what should expect.
Starfruit Cookie: Elderberry Cookie! You're helping us...? But why?
Elderberry Cookie: How about we call it one of those little miracles you all like to believe in. I may not believe in miracles, but but this "miracle" has proven to be the undeniable truth this time around... So I am helping.
Elderberry Cookie: On top of that, if my knowledge can help Cookies who are suffering then I should use it. What better use is there for knowledge?
Taurus Cookie: Thank youuu, Elderberry Cookieee! I knewww we could couuunt on youuu
Elderberry Cookie: No need to thank me. Starfruit Cookie, focus on your duties for the Pantheon. Taurus Cookie, follow me to my observatory. There's something we must do.
Taurus Cookie: What kiiind of somethiiing?
Elderberry Cookie: If you are truly a constellation, then we must find a way to send you back among the stars!
Taurus Cookie: Wooow, the Triiianguluuum... I haven't seen it in sooo looonggg. A flooock of Chocooo Sheeeep live near iiit, so I always visiteeed. I hope they're all okaaayyy.
Elderberry Cookie: Is that why the Taurus constellation constantly moved closer to that constellation?! How fascinating. This matches my observations exactly!
Elderberry Cookie: While I still find it hard to believe, I must admit at this point you do appear to be a true, living constellation. They would have been absolutely intrigued...
Taurus Cookie: Who's "theeeyyy"? And whaaat are all these boooks?!
Elderberry Cookie: They're records of various bees' movements over time. I've picked the ones which would be relevant, so feel free to reference them in your search for honey.
Taurus Cookie:Read alllll of thiiiisss?
Elderberry Cookie: I marked the most important segments, so focus on reading those. Visiting each of those areas will get you various different types of honey.
Taurus Cookie: *Yaaawn* I'm tired... I neeever read thiiis much... The other constellaaations would beee surpriiised.
Elderberry Cookie: I wouldn't be so sure about that. You've spent more time eating cake than reading those records. When I researched with them I hardly had a chance at all, let alone snack. Don't whine.
Taurus Cookie: But I'm tiiiireeeed...! You're so amaaazinggg, Elderberry Cookieee...
Taurus Cookie: I'll do my beeest to fiiind the hooneyyy... I have to fiiix the Springs so the Cookieees don't struuuggleee.
Elderberry Cookie: Now that's the kind of motivation we're looking for. It's about time you showed it in your actions. There's no use just saying you'll do something without following through.
Taurus Cookie: *Groaaan*... Can you tell me a stooory to wake me uuup? About your paaast. Who are "theeey"? You keep meeentioniiing theeem. Are you from somewhere eeelse, Elderberry Cookieee?
Elderberry Cookie: Well, I'll be. You're more perceptive than I thought...
Elderberry Cookie: I... wandered for quite some time beofre settling here. I'm originally from the City of Wizards...
New Possibilities[]
In-game Summary
Elderberry Cookie continues his research with Taurus Cookie by his side. Through his conversations with Taurus Cookie, he recalls forgotten memories of the City of Wizards, including the day he left.
He admits that Taurus Cookie's bright light might have been the very thing that drew him to leave his home for the outside world. He vows to help Taurus Cookie get back to her rightful place among the stars.
Wizard of the Observatory: Elderberry Cookie, what are the current coordinates of Ursa Gelata Major?
Elderberry Cookie: At 6 'o clock, 45 degrees from the horizon. I've created a new celestial map. Would like to take a look?
Wizard of the Observatory: This will allow us to accurately position the stars and other celestial bodies regardless of the observer's location.
Wizard of the Observatory: Wonderful job. This should be useful when building the Planetarium the Great Sage has planned.
Elderberry Cookie: A Planetarium? That's a device that will allow us to observe the stars' movements, right? We should be able to more accurately witness and make records of the stars' power...
Elderberry Cookie: I'm sure viewing the night sky from the Planetarium will be a whole new experience... Would you allow to visit, too? I'm sure I can be of help, no one knows the positions of the stars as well as I do.
Wizard of the Observatory: I'm sure that will be fine. However, your purpose is to look after this observatory first and foremost. After all, it is your duty to observe the stars here.
Elderberry Cookie: Indeed, it is... I would still be honored if you would visit the Planetarium with me.
Wizard of the Observatory: Yes, yes... How about we begin marking out the position of the next constellation, hm?
Taurus Cookie: Aaand...? Did you gooo to the Planetaaariuuum together?
Elderberry Cookie: No, we didn't... They were always busy, and I was always busy just trying to keep up.
Elderberry Cookie: I still enjoyed our time together, because I was able to contribute to their research.
Elderberry Cookie: In that process, I also witnessed the beginnings of various magics and many shining stars. It was wonderful.
Elderberry Cookie: Not to mention the Cookie who shone with moonlight...
Taurus Cookie:A Cookie with the pooower of the mooon? Wooowww, they muuust be strooong! As strooong as theyyy wereee.
Elderberry Cookie: Who knows... We never truly measured her against them. That would be quite the interesting hypothesis to test.
Taurus Cookie: Elderberry Cookieee, I can tell you reaaallyyy liked themmm and the whole cityyy. Your eyes were shiiiniiing while you were taalkiiinggg
Taurus Cookie: I feel the saaame when I thiiink about the Celestiaaal Teeempleee. I want to relaaax in the soooft creaaam cheeese clouuuds...
Elderberry Cookie: Are you sure lazing about isn't your main goal there? You're predictable, at the very least.
Taurus Cookie: Heeeyyyy, Elderberry Cookieee... Why did you leaaave that plaaace?
Elderberry Cookie: Oh, well... It's because they left..
Elderberry Cookie: Are you really leaving?
Wizard of the Observatory: We are. We don't have much time... But I hope you will continue your research.
Elderberry Cookie: Is that... because it is my duty to do so?
Wizard of the Observatory: You could say that is part of it. You were a Cookie created with an endless thirst for knowledge, so that is your meaning... and your purpose.
Wizard of the Observatory: While I do not know how much potential you carry, I hope that one day you will begin to conduct your own research. Here, this book is for you.
Wizard of the Observatory: I hope it will be of great use.
Elderberry Cookie: They said I should conduct research of my own... but after their departure. I just grew more and more listless by the day. Those who had been my compass had left my side, and I lost all motivation for my studies.
Elderberry Cookie: No matter what I did, no matter what I tried, they weren't coming back. It felt as if I had been given an impossible task.
Elderberry Cookie:Of course, each day I woke up and habitually read my books and observed the stars. Right when I was about to get tired of even that I encountered this group of Cookies leaving...
Prophet Cookie: Yes, it has. Alas, goodbyes are most difficult...
Wizard Cookie: Hey, Blueberry Pie Cookie! Why don't you comes with us? There's lots of things to see out there!
Blueberry Pie Cookie: I must say my goodbyes here. My presence is required in the Archives.
Wizard Cookie: That's too bad... I get the feeling this isn't going to be the last time we meet! Reach out if you ever want to know more about the outside!
Elderberry Cookie: "The outside"...! Suddenly, an option I had never even considered was laid out right in front of me.
Elderberry Cookie: I had never been given the option of leaving. Such was my fate as one of the Cookies created within the City of Wizards.
Elderberry Cookie:Suddenly, for the first time in my existence, I had access to a new option to choose... and all the possibilities that could come from it!
Elderberry Cookie: What if the research they had mentioned—research of my very own—was not something to be found within the city... but outside it? If I followed and researched my beloved constellations, would I someday come to meet them?
Elderberry Cookie: And... it just so happened that the brightest star of Taurus was moving. The star whose brightness had given me comfort when I felt so lost. So I decided that I must follow it!
Elderberry Cookie: When I took my very first step outside the city, I realized... The gates had always been open. It was I who was not prepared... not solid enough in my determination to act.
Elderberry Cookie: My dough eventually carried me to the Pantheon of Starlight, and I built my own observatory to observe the constellations. You could even say... you are the one who led me here Taurus Cookie.
Taurus Cookie: ...!
Elderberry Cookie: That is why I am now determined to send you back to your rightful place among the stars
Taurus Cookie: Elderberry Cookieee... I never realiiized how muuuch we could meaaan to the Cookieees on the surfaaace...
Taurus Cookie: Maybeee we've been closerrr than we thouuught... The constellatioons, and youuu, and the other Cookieees. All this tiiimeeee...!
Elderberry Cookie: Hah, you're just now realized that? It appears even the constellations are not all-knowing. I hope you'll do your best to find that honey... I will be preparing for the greatest research of my Cookie lifetime!
Taurus Cookie: I willll! I'll dooo my beeesttt. ... Can I haaave some more cake fiiirst?
Aquarius Cookie: Well, I guess it's a relief that Taurus Cookie seems... energetic, for her, at least.
Libra Cookie: I'm sure she'll be fine. You are too much of a worry-wart! Her punishment will end as soon as she's atoned for her wrongdoings. If you keep looking down to check on her you'll fall right over that edge and join her!
Aquarius Cookie: But...
Libra Cookie: But what?
Aquarius Cookie: But... Taurus Cookie doesn't know. She doesn't know what she really has to look for...
An Impossible Task[]
In-game Summary
The Cookies continue working in their various ways to prepare to open the Celestial Gates-even Taurus Cookie, who is commended for her newfound work ethic. However, she is still quite touchy when it comes to Jellies... Turing the observatory into a complete mess when Elderberry Cookie snacks on one.
While speaking with Elderberry Cookie, a disheartened Taurus Cookie realizes that Aquarius Cookie has broken several times in the past, only to be repaired like new with little fuss. The Cookies become aware of the contradictions underlying the punishment sending her in search of honey for repairs.
Dialogue
Taurus Cookie:Aaaachoooo! Aww, my douuugh is itchyyyy.
Priestesses of the Stars: Taurus Cookie! We haven't seen you in ages... They say if your dough is itching it means someone is talking about you!
Taurus Cookie: Huuuhhh...? What does that meaaan?
Caramel Priestess of the Stars: It's like an old Cookies' tale! Everyone says that when your dough itches it means another Cookie is talking about you behind your back.
Taurus Cookie: Ohhh... Well, if they're taaalking about meee, I hope they're talking about good thiiiings...
Priestesses of the Stars: We heard you've been super busy exploring recently! And you even went all the way to the Yogurt Dunes?!
Taurus Cookie: Hehe... I was lookiiing for honeeey in the places Elderberry Cookieee told me abouuut.
Taurus Cookie: I thiiink I'm even moving faaster than befooore. I'm working working sooo haaard!
Caramel Priestess of the Stars: You're right. We'll work even harder, too! We'll make sure you can go back home.
Starfruit Cookie:So this is where you've been! I've been looking for all of you. We need to prepare for the ceremony!
Starfruit Cookie: Long time no see, Taurus Cookie. I heard about your search for the honey! Let us know if there's anything that we can help you with.
Taurus Cookie: Thank youuu! But I waaant to do it ooon my ooown.
Starfruit Cookie: I know, I know. I just mean we're here for you if you ever feel like you need help. All of you, let's go to the sacred hall.
Taurus Cookie: Dooo your beeest! I'm cheering for you toooo. Oooh, before you gooo... Can I taaake some fruit jellieees?
Starfruit Cookie: Haha, I see your appetite hasn't changed at all! You can. Take extra to share with Elderberry Cookie, too!
Taurus Cookie: Elderberry Cookieee, I'm baaack! I bought jellieees from the Pantheeeonnn.
Elderberry Cookie: Taurus Cookie, how did your search for honey go? Since you're here, can you bring me the books and paper piled up over there?
Taurus Cookie: Have you been sitting theeere all this tiiime? I gatheered honey by the Yogurt Duuunes... I don't thiink I have what I neeeed for the ceremonyyy yeeet...
Elderberry Cookie: What kind of honey could fix a broken constellation Cookie? I'm honestly more fascinated that something like that exists in our realm...
Taurus Cookie: I don't knooow what they want eiiither... There's sooo many kiiinds of hoooney... *Siiigh*
Taurus Cookie: Buut you knooow, when I was attt the Pantheooon earlierrr Starfruit Cookieee told me that I chaaang—?!
Elderberry Cookie: Yes? You can continue, Taurus Cookie.
Taurus Cookie: Whaaat are you eaaating...?!
Elderberry Cookie: Oh, this jelly? It was with these on the desk. I was getting a bit peckish, so I grabbed one.
Taurus Cookie:Noooo! Those are MYYY JELLIEEEESSSSS!!!
Elderberry Cookie: Taurus Cookie, stop! You're making a mess of the materials! I just got them in order!
Aquarius Cookie:You haven't even tried to reflect or change your ways...
Taurus Cookie: Nooo... Come on, listen to meeee. Come baaack...!
Elderberry Cookie: Taurus Cookie, Taurus Cookie! What are you talking about. Pull yourself together, let's clean this mess up.
Taurus Cookie: Huhhh..? Oh... I'm sorryyy, Elderberry Cookieee... I got worked up agaiiin.
Elderberry Cookie: It's fine. I'm the one who just took one without asking. I do think that was a bit of an overreaction, though.
Taurus Cookie: I'm sorryyy... I'll clean uuup. I thought I had chaaanged, but I haven't at alllll...
Elderberry Cookie: There's no need to get so down about it. We can clean up together. When you've spent you entire Cookie life behaving a certain way, it's irrational to expect those habits to change overnight. Plus, you are much less lazy than you used to be!
Taurus Cookie: !!!
Elderberry Cookie: I'm sure you'll notice more changes over time. You know, now that I think about it... one of your angry spells like this was likely what resulted in Aquarius Cookie breaking, wasn't it?
Elderberry Cookie: But constellation Cookies must have some mysterious power that sets them apart from us average Cookies. Is it really possible to have broken them with your strength?
Taurus Cookie: I don't knooowww... Aquarius Cookieee is sensitive, so she breaks easilyyy. She breaks when I yeeelll, or even craaacks and cruuumbles when she shakes from getting too maaaddd... Wait!
Elderberry Cookie: ...
Taurus Cookie: ...
Elderberry Cookie: If that is true... then how was she fixed all of those times? She can't have been broken this entire time.
Taurus Cookie: She waaasn't. She always ended up fiiixed... Whyyy haven't I thouuught of this befooore?
Taurus Cookie:Whyyy do I need to find hoooney theeennn? Is there any reaaal reason whyyy...?
One's Own Will[]
In-game Summary
Taurus Cookie despairs at the thought that she may have been banished from the Celestial Temple for good, but managed to regain motivation thanks to Elderberry Cookie's advice. The Cookies work together to find the best way to open the Celestial Gates, failing time and time again...
Just as they were about to give up hope, Elderberry Cookie remembers something the Wizard of the Observatory told him long ago. Suddenly, a strange light is seen to be coming from his personal observatory...!
Dialogue
Starfruit Cookie: Elderberry Cookie, how is Taurus Cookie doing...?
Elderberry Cookie: She still seems quite shocked. I can't believe they would give Taurus Cookie a seemingly pointless task... I'm starting to think they may be rather mean-spirited.
Starfruit Cookie: I'm sure the stars act upon a greater purpose that we Cookies cannot understand. We will be guided on the correct path...
Elderberry Cookie: That's a comforting way to think about it. I do hope it could put her at ease, at the very least.
Elderberry Cookie: She's convinced she must have been banished from the Celestial Temple for good, after all...
Starfruit Cookie: ...
Elderberry Cookie: All of this work we've put in trying to help her... It isn't all for nothing, is it? Will she ever be able to return to her place amongst the stars?
Starfruit Cookie: While I cannot say anything for certain... I do believe she will be able to return. We succeeded in opening the Celestial Gates, and even if the honey was not the true purpose of her task, there must be some ultimate goal they wish to achieve.
Elderberry Cookie: It's not like you to spend all day moping like this. Come on out.
Elderberry Cookie: So are you going right back to your lazy ways?
Taurus Cookie: I-I'm nooot!!! I'm... just feeling looost. I don't know what to dooo... Will I eeever get baaack?
Taurus Cookie: I looked all ooover for honeyyy... but Aquarius Cookieee didn't need honeyyy after aaalll...
Elderberry Cookie: Hmm. Do you want my thoughts on the situation, or would you rather hear Starfruit Cookie's opinion on the matter?
Taurus Cookie: Boooth...
Elderberry Cookie: Truthfully, we've made no significant progress in finding a way to get back. But if Starfruit Cookie is correct, there must be something that they want from you... like for you to learn a certain lesson from your punishment.
Taurus Cookie: A... lesssonnn?
Elderberry Cookie: You've changed since you came here. What motivated or caused you to change?
Taurus Cookie: I realiiized that it was my fault that the Galaxy Spriiing got clouuudyyy... and that it made eeeveryone have a hard tiiime.
Taurus Cookie: More than anythiiing... I want to go hooome. Thinking I miiight not be able to go baaack... made by douuugh trembleee.
Elderberry Cookie: You really have changed... When you first got here, you didn't seem to care whether you got back or not. You hesitated and even avoided going back.
Elderberry Cookie: But now you want to go back, right? Maybe those gates appear for you if you search for honey and wish to go back at on your own.
Taurus Cookie: ... Do you really thiiink sooo...?
Elderberry Cookie: I'm not sure, but there's no hypothesis I'm not willing to test. Plus, even if we happen to fall the first time, there's nothing that says weren't keep trying.
Taurus Cookie: Okaaay... If we're tryiiing, I want to taaake the Fullmoon Waaasp honeeey. It was reaaally really yummyyy.
Elderberry Cookie: You seem to be in better spirits, so I suppose it's time to get to work. Do you want to see what I found on my desk after you made a mess of it?
Taurus Cookie: What iiis iiittt?
Elderberry Cookie: The blueprints for a device that could launch you back into the sky! I was looking for this blasted thing for ages, but your little rampage uncovered it!
Taurus Cookie: Let's make iiittt! Right nooow!
Taurus Cookie: I'll go get the wooood!
Elderberry Cookie: This is shaping up quite nicely! We've almost got it.
Taurus Cookie: Leave the heaaavy things to meee. I can help build it, toooo!
Elderberry Cookie: Be careful, Taurus Cookie! If you use too much strength you might break it! You really are eager to show off your strength...
Taurus Cookie: I'm not tryyying to show oooff... I barely touuuched it, why did it breaaak?
Elderberry Cookie: Your "barely" is much more than most of my things can bear, I'm afraid! Haha, with strength like that, I'm sure you could get along fine just about anywhere.
Starfruit Cookie: I'm glad to see Taurus Cookie back to her old self.
Elderberry Cookie: It's nothing. Every Cookie has to face their fair share of hardships, after all.
Starfruit Cookie: That's quite deep for you to say, Elderberry Cookie. Here, I gathered the records available here at the Pantheon.
Elderberry Cookie: Thank you. With all of those records, I'm sure I can narrow things down to find the optimal date to open the Celestial Gates.
Elderberry Cookie: I hope she's able to go back then.
Starfruit Cookie: You're working really hard for this. I see you're not denying the existence of the Celestial Gates anymore, hm?
Elderberry Cookie: I saw them with my own eyes, after all. I don't deny what I've seen or experienced myself. Besides... I've witnessed something even more powerful.
Starfruit Cookie: ???
Elderberry Cookie: Both you and Taurus Cookie have always been a part of this mysterious world, sensing a mysterious power that I was not privy to.
Elderberry Cookie: But witnessing your sincere belief... made me a believer myself. After all, our very existence in this realm is a mystery in and of itself. What's wrong with believing in a few more mysteries?
Elderberry Cookie: I want to help her-my shining constellation-return to her rightful place.
Starfruit Cookie: Well, isn't that great to hear! We'll do whatever we can to make that happen, too.
Taurus Cookie: I'm reaaadyyy. Are youuu?
Elderberry Cookie: The moonlight is veiled behind the clouds. This is a perfect night to attempt to open the Celestial Gates.
Starfruit Cookie: We're prepared for our ceremony. The stars keepers will be praying.
Priestesses of the Stars: All of the village Cookies said they would pray and wish with us, too! Everyone is hoping that Taurus Cookie will be able to go home tonight.
Taurus Cookie: Thank youuu, everyooone! I wooon't hesitaaate this tiiime... I'll run riiight to the gaaates!
Elderberry Cookie: Perfect. We'll send you up in time with everyone's wishes.
Cookies: Okay!
Elderberry Cookie: One, two... three!
Taurus Cookie: Ugh...! I can't reaaach! We haaave to pull it tiiighter!
Elderberry Cookie: One more time!
Taurus Cookie: Ugh!
Elderberry Cookie: And again!
Taurus Cookie: Ugh...!
Taurus Cookie:And aga-huh?! The device broke...!
Taurus Cookie: I'm sorryyy... I ate too many jellieees...
Elderberry Cookie: If we don't succeed today, we don't know how long we'll have to wait for another night with perfect conditions like this... Think, Elderberry Cookie... What can you do? Did you miss anything in your calculations?
Elderberry Cookie: Where can we find the materials to repair or rebuild the device? How long will it take... Ugh, my head cannot keep up with all the variables...
Wizard of the Observatory:Remember, Elderberry Cookie. Even as your passion for knowledge burns hot, you must always make cool, calm decisions.
Wizard of the Observatory:The thruth is always hidden amongst the information at hand. Review and recall everything you have read, written, observed, leaned, and felt.
Wizard of the Observatory:You can do it. I believe in you.
Elderberry Cookie: There's... no way the one who created me would ever give such sweet praise. But at least the though of it has helped me calm done. I must go over what I know.
Elderberry Cookie:A true scholar does not cease until they have found the answer, and the answer is somewhere within me.
Starfruit Cookie: Don't give up, Taurus Cookie! Elderberry Cookie! We'll wait for another date if we have to, we're prepared for this.
Starfruit Cookie: We won't let ourselves be knocked down anymore.
Star Believer 1: We're prepared, too! We can even predict the weather now thanks to Elderberry Cookie's records!
Star Believer 2: We can help! Who cares if we have to make the device ten... even twenty more times?!
Taurus Cookie: Thank youu, everyooone... Thank you sooo muuuch.
Priestesses of the Stars: Huh?! Where is that light coming from? There's light coming from the observatory!
Elderberry Cookie: That's...!

Taurus Cookie retains to the Celestial Temple, and the two remaining Cookies agree to work together to help the local Cookies.
Elderberry Cookie returns to the City of Wizards once more in an attempt to return his book to is rightful place.
Dialogue
Elderberry Cookie: My book is glowing. This is a book the Wizard gave to me about astronomy...
Starfruit Cookie: I can sense the sacred power of the stars from that book. It's imbued with a mysterious strength.
Elderberry Cookie: It can't be. This is just an ordinary book. There's no way it's a Tome with any sort of magical power... If it were, Blueberry Pie Cookie would have—
Wizard of the Observatory:While I do not know how much potential you carry, I hope that one day you will begin to conduct your own research. Here, this book is for you.
Wizard of the Observatory:I hope you will succeed with research of your own.
Elderberry Cookie: Could... Could this book really hold magical power? Now that I think of it, I was perusing this book the night Taurus Cookie fell to the surface. Which passage was I reading...?!
Elderberry Cookie:On a night when scared stars shine bright May blazing desires draw in their light—
Elderberry Cookie: "Draw in their light"... Is this a spell to cause the stars to fall?!
Elderberry Cookie: I had dozed off while observing the stars and had a strange dream. Was this really the last passage I read...?
Starfruit Cookie: Whether it truly is or isn't is not important right now! We have no choice but to believe in the immense power held within that Tome, even if it is a bit different from the power of the stars.
Elderberry Cookie: You know, I thought the language of this book was too flowery for an astronomy book... but it was spells all along. Did it activate because I happened to read it when Taurus Cookie was banished?
Taurus Cookie: Is there aaanythiiing about sening a constellaaation baaack?
Elderberry Cookie: This... appears to be some sort of code or ancient language. How is this read... ?
Starfruit Cookie: Those characters are in some of the Pantheon's records! "On a night bathed in the stars; light, may the awakened star soar to the sky with might..." Elderberry Cookie, you should try reading it.
Elderberry Cookie:On a night bathed in the stars' light May the awakened star soar to the sky with might
Starfruit Cookie: The starlight... is gathering here?!
Elderberry Cookie: We can do it, just a bit more!
Celestial Voice:The scales are balanced,a dnt eh hands of the clock are moving once more. May the Celestial Gates open and restore the constellation to their proper place!
Starfruit Cookie: Look, light is coming down from the sky!
Cookies: It's the Celestial Gates! They're open!
Elderberry Cookie: The Celestial Gates have opened once more... I still can't believe my eyes. What a beautiful sight...
Celestial Voice: Those who did not believe have learned belief and an invisible power has called forth a miracle. The lazy one has reflected upon their wrongdoings...
Celestial Voice:The scales are in perfect balance.
Taurus Cookie: Thank youuu. I learned so muuuch from aaall of youuu. Like how to neeever give uuup, and how to maaanage my own feeeelings...
Taurus Cookie: I even leaaarned how much we meaaan to all of youuu.
Starfruit Cookie: Taurus Cookie!!! We wish you safe travels! You've helped me protect my faith, thank you! Elderberry Cookie, say something!
Elderberry Cookie: ...
Taurus Cookie: Elderberry Cookieee!
Elderberry Cookie: Goodbye. I'm certain you'll shine as brightly and beautifully as you always have. You've helped me believe in miracles.
Elderberry Cookie: I've found something that I wish to do again.
Taurus Cookie: I had sooo much fuuun. I'm going to tell eeeveryone how greaaat it is down heeere!
Taurus Cookie: I'll come baaack to say hiii somedaaay!
Taurus Cookie: You all have to be weeell until theeen!
Priestesses of the Stars: We wish the same for you, Taurus Cookie! Take these jellies with you...!!!
Starfruit Cookie: She's... She's gone.
Elderberry Cookie: This all feels like a dream...
Priestesses of the Stars: Starfruit Cookie, look! The Nebula Spring is clear!
Starfruit Cookie: It really is! This is the clearest I've ever seen it... We should start recieving the stars' guidance again.
Elderberry Cookie: I'm sure you'll be quite busy. There will be quite the backlog of Cookies' requests for readings. I'd best get going...
Starfruit Cookie: You're welcome back anytime. I hope you'll keep helping us. We can comfort the Cookies with our faith, but I hope you'll share your knowledge with us to help them even more. Stop by our archives before you go, too!
Elderberry Cookie: Absolutely. I'll leave you a copy of all the information I've compiled. Then I must return this Tome to its rightful place...
Starfruit Cookie: Are you going very far? You aren't leaving for good, right?
Elderberry Cookie: I'll be back.
Starfruit Cookie: Okay, then. We wish you safe travels! Let's talk when you get back.
Blueberry Pie Cookie: Long time no see. I did not think I would see you back here, Elderberry Cookie.
Elderberry Cookie: It's been a while, Blueberry Pie Cookie. I came to return this... Tome to itws rightful place. It is far too powerful for me to keep it in my possession.
Blueberry Pie Cookie: That's the book the Wizard gifted to you. Its rightful place is with you.
Elderberry Cookie: They did,but... why? Why has it only shown its true power now? After all this time? Do you think this could be a sign the Clock Tower may start working again?
Blueberry Pie Cookie: Who is to say... I doubt any Cookie knows the answer to that question.
Elderberry Cookie: How did I know that would be your answer... Fine. I will do what I can to continue studying the sky and the constellations within it. And I will use that... to uncover the reason why they left us.
Blueberry Pie Cookie: Very well. I wish for your success.
On a night when stars unexpectedly fall from the sky, Starfruit Cookie gives instructions to the star keepers before rushing to the Nebula Spring. Unable to hide her fear, Starfruit Cookie dreads that the spring might face the same problems as before.
Dialogue
Starfruit Cookie:*Huff... huff...!* Must hurry! A falling star... what an ominous sign...!
Priestesses of the Stars: Starfruit Cookie! We're ready for the celestial ceremony! We've placed the starfruit in cups of pure milk.
Starfruit Cookie: Then quickly, gather around the cups and start dancing in circles! I'll join you after I check on the stars.
Priestesses of the Stars: Yes, Starfruit Cookie!
Priestesses of the Stars:The stars paint pictures in the sky,
a map for all Cookies to see
We follow their guidance,
toward the stars we'll be.
Priestesses of the Stars:When the star spirit visits the Nebula Spring,
though we may fall, we rise again,
running toward hope.
O stars, shows us what the future holds!
Starfruit Cookie: I was lost in a dream... Though I don't know what it meant, there's no time to ponder!
Starfruit Cookie:Pomegranate Cookie... If only you knew how much I've regretted since you left... I won't make the same mistake again...
Starfruit Cookie:The Nebula Spring must be safe...! If something happens this time too... I...! I must hurry...!
High above the clouds, Crowberry Cookie discovers the Celestial Temple and meets Taurus Cookie. Upon hearing about the sacred trials, Crowberry Cookie, drawn to the temple's allure, tries to manipulate the laid-back Taurus Cookie with an offer of help.
Dialogue
Crowberry Cookie: The wind keeps blowing upward. I've never soared this high before. How delightful.
Crowberry Cookie: The stars are especially bright tonight. If only they were tangible treasures we could touch.
Crowberry Cookie: I never knew such a temple existed. How long has it been here before?
Taurus Cookie: Woooow... how did youuu... fly all the way up heeeere...? Even Cookies with... airplanes couldn't make it...
Crowberry Cookie: I rode the wind. You must be a Cookie who lives in this temple. Why are you lying in front of this... questionable iron gate instead of staying in that beautiful temple?
Taurus Cookie: We each have... to take a triiiial... to become... proper constellation Cookieeees...
Taurus Cookie: But I'm tooo... lazyyyy... so I'm taking a breeeeak...
Crowberry Cookie:A temple like this must have many things that catch my eye. Perhaps I can use this Cookie...
Crowberry Cookie: How about this? If I help you with your trial, you can help me find something shiny in return?
Taurus Cookie: Hmmmm... thank you buuut... this trial is something... I must do myseeelf...
Crowberry Cookie: Well, if you insist. I was only trying to help. Maybe I'll just explore on my own then.
Taurus Cookie: Ohhhh... protecting the temple... is my duuuty... If strangers enter... they will... bring their wraaaath...
Crowberry Cookie: ... Look who suddenly got quick on their feet. I don't have much care about them you speak of, but seems there's nothing worth my time here anyway. I'll take my leave.
Taurus Cookie: We can play together... up here in the skyyy... come visit agaaain... I should head back inside noooow...
While pursuing stars with her sketchbook, Butter Pretzel Cookie stumbles upon the City of Wizards. Finding inspiration in this strange, empty city, she decides to create a new piece for her upcoming exhibition.
Dialogue
Butter Pretzel Cookie: Stars are just incredible! No matter how many times I paint them, they take my breath away every time.
Butter Pretzel Cookie: Hold on... where exactly am I? Got so caught up in my art, I wandered off somewhere new.
Butter Pretzel Cookie: Never seen this place before. Such massive buildings, but where is everyone? All these closed doors... Hellooo?! Anybody around?
Blueberry Pie Cookie: Time flies when you're dusting books. With so few Cookies coming to read them, they need even more maintenance.
Blueberry Pie Cookie: I should start with the neglected shelves. First, I'll need to get a ladder and duster from the storage room.
Blueberry Pie Cookie: Whew, I started at sunset and it's already midnight. Still, I've managed about half. Now for the rest...
Blueberry Pie Cookie: Ah, the astronomy section. These old books need attention. Besides the moon–related ones, they haven't been read much... Though these worn pages must be from Elderberry Cookie.
Blueberry Pie Cookie: Let's see where the pages are most worn... It's about constellations. The twelve zodiac constellations that follow the sun...
Blueberry Pie Cookie: The Taurus section seems particularly well–read. Come to think of it. I once saw someone copying these pages dilligent. I wonder if it was the section.
Blueberry Pie Cookie: Elderberry Cookie... I wonder if you're living life the way you wanted now, just as you said before you left...
Blueberry Pie Cookie: I've added more books that you wanted... I hope I'll be able to give them to you someday.
Amber Sugar Cookie: What's going on? You look shocked!
Sugar Glass Cookie: The fallen petals... A memory fragment is glowing...
Amber Sugar Cookie: Huh? Why, though? Nothing happened that could cause this...! Quick, hide behind me!
Sugar Glass Cookie: It doesn't seem dangerous... If we take a closer look at this memory fragment we might understand what is happening... Oh my. Could this be... their memories...?
Wizard of the Gray Tower:We should modify the constellation magic as Moonlight Cookie suggested. Just brightness alone won't be enough to harness a constellation's power.
Wizard of the Library:Indeed. Following her suggestion will give us the results we seek. What's your take on this? Constellations are your speciality, after all.
Amber Sugar Cookie: Are they talking about the wizards who built this greenhouse? But what's all this about constellations?
Sugar Glass Cookie: Before they left after building the greenhouse, they mentioned something about following a bright star... Could there be a connection...?
Sugar Glass Cookie: I haven't seen the location of this memory before... This must be the City of Wizards... Look over there... There's an unfamiliar Cookie... They must have created that Cookie, too...
Elderberry Cookie:Is that everyone thinks...? Even you, Wizard of the Observatory, my creator...?
Cream Unicorn Cookie, who believes only stars and memories were eternal is delighted to meet a star thanks to Taurus Cookie. The two Cookies happily decide to take a nap together.
Dialogue
Cream Unicorn Cookie: The stars are especially bright tonight. The stars must hold all our thoughts about them... Like storage of our memories...
Cream Unicorn Cookie: What's that...? There's a particularly bright light... Could that be where the stars live?
Taurus Cookie: Whyyyy did you come all the way heeere? Are you a Pegasus Cookieee? Or maybe a Pony Cookieee?
Cream Unicorn Cookie: Neither. I'm just a small, ordinary rainbow pony from the amusement park. Could you tell me about your connection to the stars?
Taurus Cookie: Aaaaall the Cookies who live heeeere are constellations... Including meee...
Cream Unicorn Cookie: I thought stars wouldn't be lonely since constellations have many stars... I didn't know there were constellation Cookies too...
Taurus Cookie: If you're lonelyyyy... come visit usss... There's lots of usss...
Cream Unicorn Cookie: Thank you for saying that. So you're the ones making the night sky shine... I thought only stars and memories were eternal, but to think we can create memories with the stars... I'm so glad I met you.
Taurus Cookie: *Yaaaaaawn...* I'm too sleepy to go ooon... You can sleep heeere tooo... We'll play when we wake uuup...
Cream Unicorn Cookie: Then I'll rest besides you for a while. Thanks fo you, I think I'll have dreams as beautiful as the stars...
Taurus Cookie: zZZ... zZZ...
Under the Stars[]
A Regular at the Library[]
In-game Summary
Elderberry Cookie is a frequent visitor to the Wizards' Library, where Blueberry Pie Cookie keeps astronomy books ready for her regular patron. The two Cookies discuss a recent book theft incident at the library.
Elderberry Cookie: Oh, is it that time already? I suppose borrowing books isn't possible?
Blueberry Pie Cookie: No. All books here belong to them.
Blueberry Pie Cookie: Especially after the theft incident... we must be careful.
Elderberry Cookie: I understand. Every book here contains their knowledge and secrets... filled with magic.
Elderberry Cookie: By the way... what was in that book?
Blueberry Pie Cookie: That's confidential.
Elderberry Cookie: Haha, fair enough. On another note, thank you for finding me that book earlier. I hadn't even requested it.
Blueberry Pie Cookie: Well, I always see you in front of the astronomy section. Figured you'd finished everything on those shelves, so I prepared something new.
Elderberry Cookie: Guess I'll be waiting at the entrance when you open tomorrow then,
Blueberry Pie Cookie: Take your time. I'll always be here.
Elderberry Cookie: Tomorrow I'll bring some jellies to snack on while reading.
Blueberry Pie Cookie: Then I'll prepare the tea.
An Astronomer's Task[]
In-game Summary
After discovering the Taurus constellation, Elderberry Cookie seeks praise from the Wizards. However, they only compare his work to Moonlight Cookie's. Disheartened, Elderberry Cookie finds solace in stargazing.
Dialogue
Elderberry Cookie: Stars are classified by their brightness. So this must be a first-magnitude star?
Elderberry Cookie: I remember everything from our last lesson.
Elderberry Cookie: While researching, I discovered a new constellation. It looks like a bull, with an incredibly bright star. What if we used that star for constellation magic?
Wizard of the Gray Tower: We should modify the constellation magic as Moonlight Cookie suggested. Just brightness alone won't be enough to harness a constellation's power.
Wizard of the Library: Indeed. Following her suggestion will give us the results we seek. What's your take on this? Constellations are your specialty, after all.
Wizard of the Observatory: Hmm...
Elderberry Cookie: Is that what everyone thinks...? Even you, Wizard of the Observatory, my creator...?
Wizard of the Observatory: Yes. Wizard of the Grey Tower has a point.
Elderberry Cookie: How could... Then my work...
Wizard of the Observatory: Continue your observations and research as before. That's your duty.
Wizard of the Gray Tower: Now, let's head to the Clock Tower to continue our research. Time grows short.
Elderberry Cookie: ... Now that the Wizards have left, back to the telescope.
Elderberry Cookie: There it is... the bull-shaped constellation. And over there, that brilliantly bright star...
Elderberry Cookie: I wonder if they spared me a thought when they left.
Elderberry Cookie: Well, if no one will give me answers, I'll look to the stars. They, at least, remain constant as long as I watch them.
Elderberry Cookie: The constellations will understand me. Now, let's see...
After Pomegranate Cookie left, Starfruit Cookie, blaming herself for the clouding of the Nebula Spring, steps down as High Oracle. The star keepers comfort their troubled leader, helping Starfruit Cookie find new courage. As if watching over their renewed bonds, the Nebula Spring slowly begins to clear.
Dialogue
Priestesses of the Stars: Starfruit Cookie! Where are you? We brought some fresh starfruit juice to perk you up!
Olive Priestess of the Stars: Maybe she went to the Nebula Spring again? She has been going there every chance she gets lately.
Caramel Priestess of the Stars: I even caught her dozing off by the spring once... Almost fell in too!
Blueberry Priestess of the Stars: Does that mean she missed lunch and dinner again...?
Priestesses of the Stars: ...! We better bring some jellies too!
Starfruit Cookie: No matter how many wishes I make to the stars, the spring won't clear up... What should I do...
Priestesses of the Stars: Starfruit Cookie! Please eat something!
Starfruit Cookie: You don't need to be so kind to me... I already said I'm stepping down. I failed my duty by trusting a stranger...
Starfruit Cookie: The prophecies stopped after seeing those Cookies that day... The Nebula Spring is still clouded... I must have lost my powers... It's better for everyone if I step down.
Priestesses of the Stars: Please don't say that! The stars are watching over you, even now!
Starfruit Cookie: ...!
Caramel Priestess of the Stars: You understand the stars better than any of us!
Blueberry Priestess of the Stars: That's right! Even if you step down, we'll just choose you again!
Olive Priestess of the Stars: Please keep reading the stars... for all of us!
Starfruit Cookie: Everyone... thank you so much... While. was caught up in my regret and pain. you must have been suffering too... I'm sorry.
Starfruit Cookie: I promise to become one you can be proud of! First things first... I'll keep truing until the Nebula Spring clears up!
Priestesses of the Stars: Start with drinking this starfruit juice first!
Starfruit Cookie: Look! Did you see that?! The water seems a bit clearer than before!
Priestesses of the Stars: Yes! We saw it! Wow! At this rate, it'll be back to normal in no time!
Starfruit Cookie: O stars, thank you! If you grant us prophecies once again, I swear to honor their meaning properly this time!
Moonlight Cookie: The dark moon makes the stars shine brighter tonight... I can barely see the crescent moon even from the top of the Clock Tower.
Moonlight Cookie: Lately, I've been having these distant memories... Neither happy nor sad. More like hazy dreams than memories...
Moonlight Cookie: Before they left, the Wizards mentioned there was a Cookie like me... One blessed with a different light...
Moonlight Cookie: But I've never met such a Cookie in these lands.
Moonlight Cookie: Perhaps then... somewhere in the sky, in places I've yet to see... Someone once told me that they needed another miraculous Cookie, just like me.
Moonlight Cookie: If they're up in the sky, I wonder who named them... If not the gentle Moon, what were they made from?
Moonlight Cookie: Today, I find myself missing a voice I can't quite remember...
The constellation Cookie watch over Taurus Cookie struggling on the surface. Libra Cookie comforts the worried Aquarius Cookie as they wait for Taurus Cookie's return.
Dialogue
Libra Cookie: Are you staring at the floor again? You might break another edge of your water jug that way.
Aquarius Cookie: I'm not looking at the floor... I'm watching the surface below! I'm checking on Taurus Cookie, because she doesn't seem very reliable...
Libra Cookie: It was their punishment from above, nothing we can do about it. Whatever hardships await on the surface, Taurus Cookie must bear them.
Aquarius Cookie: I know, but... If only I hadn't stolen her cheese, Taurus Cookie would't have fallen down there...
Libra Cookie: Hehehe, don't worry too much. My scales never lie! Once she has made up for her wrongdoing, she'll return.
Aquarius Cookie: I don't need consolation. She's so laid-back... At this rate, who knows when she'll find all the honey and come back.
Libra Cookie: I'm not just trying to console you. I only speak truths measured by my scales. All we need to do is wait for Taurus Cookie.
Aquarius Cookie: ... If you say so... Thank you. I was worried Taurus Cookie might not be able to return.
Libra Cookie: She may be the most laid-back among us, but she's also the strongest. So let's wait and see.
Aquarius Cookie: I'll try to have more faith in Taurus Cookie, too. Please come back soon... I've prepared lots of cheese jellies.
Blueberry Pie Cookie:The City of Wizards is quiet, as always... No different from when everyone would tiptoe around during the height of the wizards' research.
Blueberry Pie Cookie: "Each in their place, each to their task." That's what they always said. We're simply following their instructions.
Blueberry Pie Cookie: When Cinnamon Cookie, Wizard Cookie, and Prophet Cookie visited, it was quite lively... Probably because they weren't created by the wizards. I wonder how they're all doing.
Blueberry Pie Cookie: I clearly remember what Wizard Cookie said... That even if they left it would not be our last meeting.
Blueberry Pie Cookie: I should have asked Elderberry Cookie to send them greetings if they ever crossed paths.
Blueberry Pie Cookie: I hope he is not lonely where he has gone... May he find happiness among the constellations.
Different Methods, Same Minds[]
In-game Summary
Elderberry Cookie and Starfruit Cookie argure about which constellation will appear after Taurus. Elderberry insists it's Aquarius based on telescope observations, while Stafruit claims the Nebula Spring prophesied Libra. However, to both Cookies' surprise, both constellations appear simultaneously. Seemingly forgetting their recent quarrel, the Cookies decide to observe the constellations through the telescope and offer wishes together.
Dialogue
Elderberry Cookie: I saw it through my telescope, there's no doubt about it! Aquarius will be the next constellation to appear.
Starfruit Cookie: The Nebula Spring is where the stars themselves deliver prophecies! Libra, who measures fate, will appear.
Elderberry Cookie: Just because stars deliver prophecies doesn't mean they explain everything directly. I trust what I observe and analyze myself.
Starfruit Cookie: Hmmm... What do you think, everyone?
Priestesses of the Stars: Oh! The Nebula Spring is glowing!
Elderberry Cookie: Ah! I can see it clearly through the telescope! But there are two constellations! This constellation is definitely... Aquarius... and then...
Starfruit Cookie: It's Libra! The stars are delivering two prophecies at once...! I want to hear more! I want to see them up close!
Elderberry Cookie: We can see each star of the constellations form the observatory. Would you like to come? The star keepers can join too.
Starfruit Cookie: Great! Everyone, prepare the Nebula Chalice! Let's offer our words of gratitude to the stars!
Priestesses of the Stars: So you were both right! Wow! Starfruit Cookie, you're amazing as always!
Elderberry Cookie: ...Haha, I suppose I should thank you for acknowledging my answer too.
Elderberry Cookie: Anyway, follow me. I'll help you see the clear constellations and offer words to the stars before sunrise.
Starfruit Cookie: I'll put in a special word with the stars so you can meet more ocnstellations. After all, we share the same love for the stars!
Aquarius Cookie: Taurus Cookie...! I was so anxious watching over you. Was it rough down there? Are you hurt anywhere?
Taurus Cookie: Hehe... everyone helped... soooo I was finnnnne... And I aaaaate... lots of delicious... cheeeeeeeese jellieeeees...
Aquarius Cookie:Even after going all that way, the only thing you cna think about is food...? *Sigh* You did properly serve your punishment, didn't you?
Libra Cookie: Hehehe, according to my scales, she has fully made up for her wrongdoing. That's why she was able to return.
Taurus Cookie: Yaaay... that's goooooood... The surrrrface was niiice... but... Rolling arouuuund... in the soft.... fluffy clouds... is muuuuuch... better...
Aquarius Cookie: Hmph. I saw they gave you soft bedding at the Pantheon of Starlight on the surface, too.
Taurus Cookie: Yes... buuut the cream clouuuds... are muuuuch commmfier... And my constellation Cookie frieeends are all heeere...
Taurus Cookie: Hehe... I really... missed youuuuu!
Aquarius Cookie: ... I missed you too! I prepared cheese jellies for you. Let's eat them together.
