Tough Cookie Match! is a special Event game mode released during the Time Relic Chaos! update. It is based off of the Tough Cookie Club event from the Season 7 update, and is hosted by the same NPC.

Maps
There are currently five maps available in this game mode.
- Valley of Eternal Flames - Features stages 5-7 of the Dragon's Valley. Contains a lot of Pink Bear Jellies.
- Adventure Begins - Combines the Runaway Streetcar stage from Happy Healthy Hamlet with stages 5-8 of the Primeval Jungle. Contains a lot of Yellow Bear Jellies.
- Joyful Gameland - Combines various game-related stages, including Cookiedroid's Trial. Contains a lot of Frozen Bear Jellies.
- Secret Temple of Millenial Forest - Taken directly from a previous final round in the Grand Champions League. Contains a lot of Giant Bear Jellies.
- Best Bamboo Training Ground - Combines the trials of
Plum Cookie, Ninja Cookie, and Leek Cookie. Contains a lot of obstacles.
Gameplay[]
This event functions similarly to the 1vs1 Races, but involves randomized matchmaking and five different levels of difficulty across a much more limited set of maps. Players need to compete against each other (not in real time) to try and beat the high score of another player; they have five lives per trial, with each trial requiring 10 Tough Cookie Tickets to enter. Tough Cookie Tickets can be earned by playing the game, logging in daily, or purchasing 10 for 2,000 Crystals; logging in daily gives 3, while up to 4 can be earned per trial by playing, depending on which round is reached.
There are five rounds in this event, each with its own map difficulties and level caps. The first four rounds are numbered as Rounds 1-4, with the last round being the "Tough Cookie Round" which involves endless matchmaking and the collection of Tough Cookie Stars; these stars determine the final ranking of a player, but do not grant any immediate rewards. The first four rounds involve four matches each, with the last match in each of these rounds involving a "tough opponent". The first round does not use the actual scores of other players; it uses the scores of a randomly generated combi and point value, under the aliases "The Youngest Minion", "The Eldest Minion", "Tough Cookie's Right Arm", and "The Toughest Tough Cookie", from matches 1-4. Rounds 2 and onwards use actual player data. The following is the level caps for each round.

There is a Win Streak system, which serves 2 main purposes. Firstly, if the player reaches the Tough Cookie Round even once, all subsequent runs will allow the player to skip to the final match in Rounds 1-4 if the player reaches a Win Streak of at least 2; this means that at least three matches must be done in Round 1, and at least 1 match must be done in Rounds 2-4. If the player loses a match during this time, this feature ends until a Win Streak of at least 2 is obtained again. Secondly, the Win Streaks give a bonus to the # of Tough Cookie Stars and Gold Gems earned per match; a 10% increase for the latter, and up to two extra stars per win for the former, depending on the streak.
The MAX Ticket system returns, but this time the # of tickets that can be purchased is unlimited; 5 can be bought for 500 Crystals. Additionally, the number of MAX Tickets needed is scaled depending on the round, up to a maximum of 5 tickets needed to unlock the MAX Boost. Each MAX boost only lasts for one run. At random dates, a "Free MAX Boost" is given for 12 hours; however, unlike before where this was unlimited max boosts, it only gives one free MAX Boost during the given time period.
Buffs[]
At the end of Rounds 1-4, a buff can be earned from a pool of three, able to be refreshed once per Round. These buffs can be either Common, Rare, or Epic, and most of them come in sets of all three ranks. Below is all possible buffs compared by rarity.

Match Rewards[]

This event is advertised as offering "Unlimited" Gold Gems; however, this does not mean Unlimited Gold Gems will be given. The event simply does not use a Weekly or Daily Gold Gem limit seen in similar event modes (eg. Trophy Survival and Team Fight: Boost!), nor does it have a limited amount of Gold Gems to offer.
The player can earn more Gold Gems by completing more rounds, with no cap as to how many can be collected. These Gold Gems are not given right away, but instead held inside of a Perfume Jar until all 5 Hearts have been lost (ie, 5-9 runs lost, depending on which round the player is in). Once the player fails all five Hearts, all stored Gold Gems and Tough Cookie Tickets are given, and the storage resets. Failing all five Hearts while in the Tough Cookie Round results in a penalty of 3 Tough Cookie Stars lost.
Final Rewards[]
In addition to the rewards that can be earned in each match, there are final rewards that can be earned by reaching the Tough Cookie Round and earning Tough Cookie Stars.
