Treasures are equippable items that provide special effects. The most common effect is to create unique, high-scoring Jellies, but other effects including obstacle destruction, Jelly attraction or collection, Coin generation, shields, mobility aids, and more are available. Treasures can be equipped starting at Escape Level 8. Additional slots are unlocked at levels 11 and 13, to equip up to three Treasures at the same time.

Treasures were changed in Cookie Run: OvenBreak to be collected more similarly to Cookies and Pets. Treasures are levelled up by receiving multiple copies of the same Treasure, typically from the Gacha, and there are far fewer Treasures in Cookie Run: OvenBreak than in Cookie Run (LINE). There are no Draw Seasons or limited Treasure spaces, and Treasures can't be sold or extracted.

The maximum level for Treasures is 12, and level 12 Treasures can be enhanced for additional effects. Before June 5, 2017, the maximum level was six. Like Cookies and Pets, Treasures are upgraded by receiving multiple copies of the same Treasure and paying Coins. For levels up to level 9, only one copy is needed for each level. To upgrade from level 9 to 10 and from 10 to 11, two copies are needed for each level, and for the final level, three copies are necessary. Upgrading Treasures gives Escape Points to increase Escape Level.

Treasure Rarities[]

Instead of the letter grades of LINE, most Treasures come in the new rarities of Rare, Epic and Legendary. Common Treasures do not exist. When OvenBreak first released, Treasures did not have different rarities. This was changed when the first Epic Treasures were added on November 29th, 2017

Rare[]

Shield Bubble Gun Red Egg of Resurrection Perfect Landing Book
When the first six Epic Treasures were added, all previous Treasures were now classified as Rare. Three more Rare Treasures were added by February 27th, 2018, but no more Rare Treasures have been added since then. There are 15 Rare Treasures. Rare treasures are far more common to receive from Gacha.

Most Rare Treasures are overshadowed by even low level Epic Treasures, but some Rares have their uses. Red Egg of Resurrection's revival power is very versatile and is useful in multiple game modes. Lollipop Skate is a weaker form of the X-tra Hot Turbo Engine, and they can be used together for an even greater speed boost, or given to different Cookies in a Breakout who both benefit from speed boosts. The Candy Cane Staff of Darkness and Winged Jelly of Resurrection are both very situational, but they have been used in some Cookie Trials. Other Rare Treasures are generally only used in situations where stronger Treasures aren't usable, such as some Guild Run and Champions League arenas or in longer Breakout Episodes by players who don't have enough Epic Treasures yet.

Epic[]

Coin Fireworks Box Divine Guardian Shield Perfect Treasure Map
Like Cookies and Pets, most Treasures are Epic. New Epic Treasures are released regularly, typically once a month. Newer Treasure releases are always paired with an update releasing a Cookie and Pet, and the Treasure fits the theme of the update. Epic Treasures are harder to acquire than Rare Treasures, but they are far stronger. Using a 10+1 Incantation or Special 10+1 Incantation guarantees at least one Epic Treasure draw.

Older Epic Treasures have been buffed on occasion to keep them relevant. When a Treasure is buffed, the in-game list when sorted by release is not rearranged, unlike the Cookie list when a Cookie is buffed with a new Magic Candy. This makes it harder to see at a glance which Treasures were updated recently and thus likely to score well. Since Cream Unicorn Cookie's release, the in-game list when sorted by release is now rearranged, starting with Bear Jelly Boomerang's buff.

Legendary[]

Currently, five Legendary Treasures exist. The first one, Essence of Conflagration was added on May 26th, 2022 as part of The Treasure of Legends update. The second, Essence of Rejuvenation was added on September 26th, 2022 as part of The Curse of the Sacred Forest update. The third one, Lamp of Endless Dreams was added on March 29th, 2023 as part of the In the Shadow of The Dunes update, Eternal Wish Meteor was added on November 15th, 2023 as part of the second part of the Together at Wish Camp! update, and the latest one. Hourglass of Aeternus Tempora was added on March 29th, 2024 as part of the Time Relic Chaos! update. Legendary treasures look significantly different from all other Treasures. Unlike Rare and Epic Treasures, these Treasures cannot be enhanced after upgrading to level 12.

Power+[]

Firm Friendship Ring True Friendship Pendant
Two Epic Power+ Treasures were added on August 30th, 2018, Firm Friendship Ring and True Friendship Pendant. Like POWER+ Treasures in LINE, they can not be equipped during a run. Both provided a bonus effect in Friendly Run and a daily chance to gain Crystals. The POWER+ Treasures had a listed expiration date of September 1st, 2019, and after expiring, neither one has any function. They can still be seen in the inventories of players who acquired them. No other POWER+ items have been released in OvenBreak.

Special[]

Three Special Treasures were added on November 28th, 2018, as part of the Cookie Run x Hello Kitty collaboration. These Hello Kitty themed Treasures are Mama's Apple Pie, Kitty's Lovely Lunchbox, and Kitty's Candy Box. Like Special Cookies and Pets, the Special Treasures were limited Event items. After the Event ended, they can no longer be received, and no more Special Treasures have released since.

Obtaining Treasures[]

Treasures-gacha-page

The main source of treasures is the Treasure Gacha. Rare Treasures have a roughly 70% chance of being drawn, Epic Treasures have a roughly 20% chance and Legendary Treasures have a roughly 1% chance. When 10+1 are drawn, at least one Epic Treasure is guaranteed, and the chance of drawing specific Treasures can be increased by using a Special Treasure Draw. Treasure Mileage is accquired by spending Crystals at the Treasure Gacha, and 5,000 Mileage Points can be exchanged for an Epic Treasure of choice, 8,000 Mileage Points can be exchanged for a Legendary Treasure.

Treasure Incantations and 10+1 Incantations items can be redeemed for free Treasure draws, and crafted in the Magic Laboratory or received from Events. Special 10+1 Incantations give a free Special Treasure Draw, and are occasionally a reward from Events.

Events sometimes give Treasures outright. Every new Treasure is featured in a Make it Shine! Event, and buffed Treasures are usually featured in Make it Shine! Events by themselves or with other Treasures. Treasure Hunt Events also give an assortment of Treasures.

There is a small chance of receiving a Treasure in a Gold Chest from Trophy Race. Like most items, Treasures can be bought with real money as well.

Treasure Enhancement[]

Treasures-enhancement

Once a Treasure has reached the maximum level, it has not reached its full potential. Since November 29th, 2017, Level 12 Treasures can be enhanced to provide a new effect, similar to blessing a Treasure in LINE. Some Treasures provide a new mechanic upon enhancement, such as spawning a new Jelly (ex. Star Candy Globe Star Candy Globe), or increase a statistic that is not affected by normal upgrades (ex. Double Scoop Frozen Bear Double Scoop Frozen Bear), while many others simply use enhancements as an extension of regular upgrades. Treasures can be enhanced multiple times, up to +6.

Treasure Enhancement requires either Enhancement Tickets or Enhancement Stones. If Enhancement Stones are used, Coins are spent as well. If you have an Enhancement Ticket, it will be used over Enhancement Stones and Coins. Enhancement has a high chance of failure, which is higher for higher levels of enhancement. One Ticket or Stone is needed for each attempt at enhancing a Rare Treasure, and two are needed for each attempt at enhancing an Epic. If you enhance a Treasure using a Guaranteed Enhancement Oil, it will 100% guarantee a successful enhancement. The required number of Guaranteed Enhancement Oil is different depending on the Treasure level.

Enhancing a Treasure visually adds golden lozenges to the vertices of the Treasure's icon, and a fully enhanced Treasure has a lozenge on each vertex as well as a thick golden border.
