Alright, let's be real, there's a few elephants in the room. But let's start with only one of them, a pretty major one. There's a few others we will need to work through in coming time, but for now, the elephant of child Cookies.
As you know, we've had a category for Cookies that were either confirmed to be children or are very, very blatantly children. As time as passed, this has become more unmanageable as more Cookies fall into a gray area, and today we have a problem: Hero and Sandwich are both in class together. But what age they are, is not stated, obviously. Are they in high school? Are they in college? Who knows? Now, we could just put them in the child category since school is mentioned and be done with it, but where's that going to take us?
They will be in the same category as itty bitty children like Pudding and Chestnut.
This isn't acceptable and will only open up new questions, and those are gonna be a lot less moral and a lot more disgusting.
However, making a category like "young adult" or "teenager" is also inconceivable, as there are many Cookies whose ages are very unclear but logically in the age range of anywhere from 16-25. With that being said, many Cookies are very blatantly young children, so that's going to be logically deduced. For Cookies that are not so obvious, such as Snow Sugar or Gumball, it will be placed as a trivia factoid. Other than that, it's simply not conceivable to keep the category going with how this recent update has put a bit of a knife in things and made it very clear to all of us that it's just not as clear-cut as we would've thought or liked it to be.
The decision was talked over between quite a few members of the discord, and it was decided that it's for the best to just get rid of the category and do the above stated.
If there are any questions or concerns, feel free to bring them up, I am happy to answer anything or further explain why this decision was made.
